email went out from keith this morning with a survey about possible improvements to the vaught. says they are thinking about upgrading west side of stadium. If that gets the students back on the south side I'm 100% for it.

Tear it down and start over. That’s the best improvement outcome

The theoretical improvements they made 10 years ago were awesome. It was the actual improvements that they substituted at the last minute that actually sucked balls.

I wonder if they're gonna do a press box/upper deck combo? I'm sure they're gonna want to put suites there

I hope they just mirror the east side. that thing could use some symmetry and continuity. expansion of the north endzone was very poor.

Maybe I’m wrong but I can’t see us playing in the Vaught for another twenty years but we waited like 20 years to late to build a new basketball arena.

What does a new 60k seat football stadium cost and where would we put it on campus?

There is nowhere to put it. What makes Ole Miss special is the close proximity of the grove and the stadium. If we moved it across HWY 6 or something like that, we would be like South Carolina (which would suck).

I wish Ole Miss would make the north endzone and east and west side match the south endzone. It would make the stadium much more aesthetically pleasing while the overhangs would trap the crowd noise making the stadium much louder. 70,000 is probably all we will ever need. Might as well make it the nicest small stadium in the SEC with built in acoustics advantages.

Agreed, they really missed the mark by not mirroring the South end zone last round. It just looks like 4 different puzzle pieces smashed together

It looks like 4 different stadiums from different eras put together. They need to either have major renovations that fixes these issues or start planning for a new stadium. We’ve done to 2 major renovations in the last 20 years and both times left the rest of the stadium untouched. Baseball and basketball have great facilities that compare to anyone in the country but football has a long way to go.

fricking this.

The East side Rebel Club was stupid looking and short-sighted as shite when it was expanded.

West Side press box and suites need to come down ASAP. Mirror that with the South Endzone except have more GA seats instead of club seats.

If they could ever make the entire stadium match the south EZ that would be best. Noise would be unbelievable and it would look nice on inside and outside. Would give a chance to really upgrade the clubs and premium seating too since that’s where all the money is.

The only eight answer is to tear it down and mimic the SEZ. Next do the same to the East. Once FedEx center is relocated do it to the NEZ. This is my biggest gripe is the main entry point to our stadium is metal bleachers.

Add an upper deck on west side. Link both rebel clubs and west side together.

If we get OU and Texas, there's no excuse not to use that extra money to do more than what they are potentially proposing for VHS... I feel like this would force our hand in the facility arm's race
