The 2014 Alabama game was loud for a couple moments but 2023 LSU was another level. That’s the only time I’ve left an Ole Miss game and my ears were ringing.

I wish we would bring that energy to every single game in Oxford... in every sport.

I’m assuming the closed bowl has actually had an impact on retaining noise judging by feedback. Previous games the tailgating atmosphere is elite but the stadium was lame. I need to make it back sometime. Even old ole miss alumni I know are OOS and lodging is a bitch

The stadium is still pretty lame, we’re about 10 years overdue for renovations. Winning plus Kiffin complaining about our fanbase not being loud every week seems to have worked pretty well more than anything.

Call me lame all you want, in my opinion we do the hotty toddy cheer way too many times before the game

It’s like 3 times in a row.

So... most of our OL, the weakest position on our team, is injured. Great.

Hope Austin can scramble enough to extend some plays because it sounds like defenses will be in his grill from jump street

OL and Safety are going to be ROUGH this year.

Ole Miss hires former Rebels WR Donte Moncrief in player personnel and recruiting

Wonder if they weren't in shape for camp. Showing up fat and slow is a great recipe for OL injuries in our camp when we start practicing at tempo.

Pete Golding said in an interview on Supertalk he has no desire to be a head coach. That he doesn’t like meeting with boosters and being the CEO. He just likes being with the players and designing defenses to stop the offense. Said he wants to coach defense at Ole Miss the rest of his life.

Thank fricking God. The one thing that made me nervous about us hiring him was that we would inevitably try to make him head coach. And as good as he is at being DC and a recruiter, he just screams head coaching disaster.

Hopefully we've moved past the point of hiring coordinators as our head coach. That just rarely ever works. Even the best coordinators fail as head coach almost all of the time.

His wife being an alum and her sister living in Oxford as well doesn’t hurt our chances of keeping him either

What do you guys make of reports of our offense really struggling during camp?

Have the reports been visually verified or is this Lane Kiffin playing chess in media interviews?

Visually reported by media that have attended portions of practices.

If he's willing to be our Bud Foster we'll never have to worry about our defense

Sounds like Kewan Lacy will be RB#1 to start the season

That our offensive line is heavily injured and our defense is actually gonna be great again. A lot of media pundits don't understand how deeply we've recruited in the front seven over the past few seasons.

The offense struggling in camp doesn't concern me much right now. Multiple OL starters are either hurt or being held out as a precaution. I like what we have at the skill positions and am not worried about Simmons stepping into the starting QB role, so the offense will go as the line goes. Now, if we struggle to run the ball and be dominant in the trenches against Georgia State in week one, I'll be concerned
