We need to load up the Brinks truck for Duce Robinson, bring him in, and pitch him on baseball/football here. The guy is a physical freak. He would be a huge help to solving our red zone woes

He barely played this year at Bama and decided to redshirt this year because of it. We should have Harris back and I know the coaching staff is really high on Echoles and Brown. Right now we’re going really hard in the portal at WR, edge rusher, and DBs.

Is he also going to call the offense?

We probably need some sort of transfer QB too.

Our room is bare bones and no one is behind Simmons.

AJ Maddux was a 4 star in high school

I was wondering about Maddox. How is he coming along?

Also, on Oatis from Alabama, sure I'd like to have his services if he's worth it, but sounds like the way he flamed out at Bama after dropping all that weight even, do we invest much in that endeavor anyway? Not to mention, if he's not interested in us now after also having not been interested out of high school, then that chicken has flown the coop for the last time.

I think his number is really high.
With that being said, does anyone know how Colorado bankrolls their NIL?

SMAC Entertainment is their biggest NIL donor.

I know he’s a 4 star but I’m always skeptical of any MPSA/MAIS kids

I wouldn’t worry about where Mississippi kids are going this early in recruitment. I’ve seen so many Mississippi kids commit elsewhere early just to sign with Ole Miss or State at the end.

It’s that “I’m getting out of here” mindset. The other places like Notre Dame seem cool because it’s a different culture they’re exposed to for the first time so it’s the “cool” thing in their mind. Then as it gets closer and closer that wears off and they realize they don’t actually want to leave home. The furthest they go is Alabama or LSU usually

This is spot on, case in point Duece Knight this year who committed early to Notre Dame

Seems like the only place they wind up going for some reason is Oregon.

Released schedule so far:

(1) Georgia State
(2) @ Kentucky
(3) Arkansas
(4) Tulane
(5) LSU
(6) Bye
(7) Washington State
(8) @UGA
(9) @Oklahoma
(10) SC
(11) Citadel
(12) Florida
(13) Bye
(14) @State

Early initial thought - we start tough with a new QB so at least we should have an idea of what we have early. @Oklahoma after the UGA game is a massive trap game and I'll be shocked if we don't drop that one.

Not playing any p4 teams. Don’t have to do home and homes unless you are MSU playing at UMASS

I don’t necessarily like that because it leads to home fatigue for fans and also sitting out some of those weak noncons.

Yeah but the SEC home games are broken up with weak teams and BYE weeks so attendance should be good when it matters.
