Of all the ranked SEC teams, we have by far the worst SEC loss.

We have no room to complain.

The loss to Kentucky is completely unforgivable

100%. Our 3 losses were all winnable and each can be easily argued we beat ourselves.

I’d love a classic Robert Stack (RIP) narrated episode of Unsolved Mysteries on Bentley’s disappearance and just all the speculation as to what happened. Stack walking towards the camera in an alleyway in downtown Oxford with the lighting and fog effects. Cryptic interviews with folks associated with the team where they do the anonymous shadow silhouette interview combined with the voice modulator.

I’m curious to know what happens if Georgia loses SEC championship game to Texas. Does Georgia stay in the playoffs with 3 losses? I think I know the answer but kind of curious to see how that unfolds

UGA would still be in. They would be 10-3 with a championship game appearance. Everyone acting like South Carolina would jump us and Bama if they beat Clemson is perplexing to me. The committee has shown several times now that they value head to head matchups when they take into consideration their rankings of teams with the same record. And we all would have the same records and us and Bama beat them. They wouldn’t jump us

I agree with everything you just posted, but I’m still curious to see if that’s what this committee does. I think you’re right don’t give me wrong. It’s just that Georgia lost at Bama and us. They will have the same record I just wonder if they get punished for playing in the championship game.

If we somehow make the playoffs, that's great, but I can't bitch if we don't.

On an alternative note, does anybody know if the coaches' poll and the writers' poll will continue through the playoffs? If so, I see a realistic probability that we end the season ranked top 10, which would be a nice consolation prize.

I don’t think I would feel consoled.

Sure I guess.

This season is and always was make the playoffs or it’s a failure. Plain and simple.
I’m not wasting energy looking at scenarios of how we can move up or what chaos we need. We fricked it all up so hard in spectacular fashion . Whatever fate we get we deserve and I don’t think it involves the playoff. And we have the coaching staff to blame

Man, that moment when Lane talked about Bentley’s YPC the other day was pathetic. I mean, I like you, Lane, but dude, we’re not as stupid as you must think we are. Grow a set and speak plainly. You’ve already embarrassed yourself this year.

I wish the media would plainly ask him, look Bentley was clearly capable last year and yet you’re telling us now this season he isn’t even a considered option at such a weak running back position… can you please explain to us peasants who don’t understand football ?

Don’t use coach speak. Or “analytics “

Tell us. Because if I were gonna sabotage a team I wouldn’t play their best returning running back in must win games. But what do I know lane?

I wish our fans would shut the frick up about Bentley. He’s not an SEC back either. He looked slower this year and reported to camp over weight. His YPC is not much better than the other guys we have. And he gets blown up in pass pro. His only upside is that he has actual home run ability unlike our other shitty backs.

The bottom line is letting judkins walk and not replacing him with an SEC back is the #1 reason we aren’t undefeated this year.

We had 5 “close games” last season and we won every game because we could get tough yards on the ground when every one knew we were running the ball.

Our coaching staff’s failure in the run game was their inability to recruit a back out of the portal. They can’t blame timing because judkins was a shite head all season and should have been prepared. And the only SEC back they picked up didn’t have a knee. Great evaluation!

With that being said there’s still zero excuse losing to Kentucky.

I’m so checked out.

I wouldve loved to hear the pitch for this in the offensive meeting room

“ ok guys… I’ve got something innovative.. it’s gonna be quirky.. but hear me out… we let this tiny pipsqueak who hasn’t carried it all year at running back get first team reps and be the primary carrier of a must win game on the road in a hostile environment”

Not trying to polish the turd of the Kentucky 3 point loss, but Bama lost to Oklahoma by 3 touchdowns.

There are so many wonderful facets as to why we are sitting here with 3 losses. We've hashed them all out over and over and over and yet I'm still not quite tired of it. I guess it's sort of therapeutic for me.

PS - Here's something that might make us all feel a touch better... or worse. Our women's basketball team plays UConn tonight at 6:30 in the championship of the Bahama's tournament.
