Threw Ole Miss win on there and you'd get a $100 to win $20 million + parlay on Bovada

Just put in $10 on BetMGM and it shows a $59,811,379.88 payout

If we all throw $10 on it - and it hits - we could buy a couple Ole Miss titles

Lost in the midst of all this moaning and wailing, of which I am responsible for plenty of, is the fact that we still didn’t block very well Saturday. It would have taken Saquon Barkley to get a yard with some of the run blocking we provided. That’s just been a never ending issue all season.

So does Southern Miss. But it doesn’t mean we should play them. I’m honestly just tired of the Egg Bowl. I know it’s tradition but it’s just a damn drag being the clearly bigger and better program and having to listen to their chirping if they happen to win. I mean, look at our social media compared to theirs after we win vs theirs. They post about the trophy, present it at multiple sporting events and parade it around all year. We do it for maybe a week, present it at basketball and that’s it. You don’t hear about it until late November after that.

Their entire program identity revolves around cowbells, going to Atlanta with an 8 win team because Ole Miss has never done it, going to a Final 4 because Ole Miss has never done it and winning the Egg Bowl.

I wouldn’t be upset if in a decade they were in a totally different conference than us. I feel like we would be better off just leaving them and the rivalry in the past like we have Colonel Reb, Dixie and the confederate flag.

Next time we win in Starkville we should leave the trophy and leave a note saying “thanks but no thanks”. They would be irate and it would cut them down to their core

This is dumb. The Egg Bowl is fun. State will recover soon, they’re very behind. But they’ll recover.

I can only hope that John Cohen works his magic at Auburn and crushes their souls for a decade too.

State is gonna recover with revenue sharing.

If NIL wasn’t a thing, yeah they would recover. But they don’t have the booster or fan support to get the players they need.

And the Egg Bowl is more annoying than fun to me. I hate losing it more than I enjoy winning it

Revenue sharing that everyone else will have as well. NIL will still separate programs

Just the fact that they can offer guys money now will help them out big time.

And they will use all of their money to lockdown Mississippi

#14 it’s over.
Nice hanging with y’all for the most memorable season in Ole Miss football history

Maybe Ranting will give us an assessment of what went wrong at some point.

Actually, I’m not really sure that’s a bad ranking. I mean a lot has to happen, but it’s only a few spots away and upsets have happened before.

What a shite take. Egg Bowl is great and winning it means something. To contemplate doing it just to piss them off is the same reason they love “TSUN” and all the other dumb shite.

What meaning does it have? How does it improve our national standing?

Also, is being at 14 is actually really good. Upsets are going to happen and if we beat State like we should, we will move up. This committee REALLY likes us to put us at that spot

I just want to make sure I am understanding this right.

Alabama gets dominated by Oklahoma 24-3 just this past weekend vs Ole Miss beating Oklahoma by more than one score.

Ole Miss dominates UGA vs Bama narrowly escaping with a victory at home.

Ole Miss dominates USCe at USCe and Bama again scrapes by with a 2 point victory.

Alabama plays Mercer in the later stages of the season vs Ole Miss having been in SEC play since late September.

They have no OOC advantage. Wisconsin South FL vs Georgia Southern Wake Forest a wash basically.

What a fricking joke and a half. What a fricking joke.

To try and be unbiased, Bama can claim they decisively dominated a team we lost to in overtime on the road. But that is cancelled by us handling a team Alabama was dominated by last weekend. Are they getting the edge because UT is ranked and they only lost by a score? I’m not sure that wins over all the other valid shite I listed with common opponents. We didn’t play UT. This really feels like a profitability thing / wanting the Bama brand over OM. They were straight dominated (could not find the end zone) by a team we just recently handled, how TF did they not drop behind us vs us losing in another narrow loss to a team that is trending up?

Alabama is still benefiting from the brand. It’s in the committee’s head even if it shouldn’t be. But we frickin’ blew it ourselves. We have nobody else to blame regardless of how any of this unfolds.

They are and it’s hilarious. I by no means expecting or holding out any hope of making the playoffs. This team doesn’t deserve to, but you could argue that our national championship baseball team didn’t really deserve to make the field either. All I know is that a lot of crazy stuff will happen and if we go out there and beat state and we somehow weasel our way in, I’ll take it

Alabama has one more CFP T25 win than we do. Our losses are worse than theirs. That's the difference.

The real crime here is Clemson being ranked 12. They have ZERO T25 wins. They played two good teams all year and got smoked both times. Arizona State should have had that 12 spot.

It's very unlikely at this point, but we are not out of it. Need the following to happen:

SC beats Clemson
Miami beats SMU handily in ACC championship
Either Alabama, Tennessee or Georgia gets upset this week
