Coach Kiffin on Bentley not playing: "It's nothing off the field at all. He's a wonderful kid, does everything we ask of him. We just haven't been really consistent and productive at that spot this year. Tried something else yesterday. I have a lot of respect for him. I appreciate how he's handled the situation. But this is what happens in coaching...you've got to make hard decisions."

Need some media to press this issue about Bentley . That chickenshite ‘answer’ isn’t gonna cut it
The big donors should be furious about this and they should demand why is my NIL donation being pissed away to go for a player who you won’t play ? That would get me good and hot.
Kiffin is too narcissistic and manipulative over the program trolling the injury report and making statements about how players are healthy and will play and they don’t , to even care. He’s just ready to send memes on twitter and hangout all day.

Mainly because who’s to say if we had kept him, if he was gonna holdout mid season to try to renegotiate his rate for future weeks… and then We would be in the same position we are in now with no running backs available. Seems like he would’ve been an even bigger diva and pain in the arse for 2024 had he remained
It’s such a shittey situation and I the fans absolutely deserve to know why the coaching staff has decided to be petty 13 year old girls regarding icing Bentley out of competition for no good reason.

Truly insane that we started a backup WR at TB in the most important game we’ve had in 50 yrs and ran a 300 pounder off tackle vs up the gut on 2 failed 4th down attempts.

The problem is we didn’t run him up the gut on the failed conversions. We tried to run him outside which kills his momentum advantage.

I think that’s partly on JJ. On two of those there was a push in the middle that would have easily gotten him the first down. But he decided to bounce it outside. I think that play that he almost broke loose against Georgia got in his head a little bit

Yep, doesn’t matter if it’s there or not. JJ’s momentum would have got the first down. Bouncing to the outside worked a couple times against UGA (which Florida had tape of and surely was expecting) so he tried it again. Our coaching staff should have been in his ear the past two weeks telling him not to do that again but especially after the first time it didn’t work.

If Kiffin ever gets named for a big job again we need to let him walk don’t offer another extension just let him walk. Investors invested too much money in this team for nothing. For him not to go out and get a half decent running back is the worst of them all.

Both were called runs off tackle. You can tell from the blocking assignments from the backfield crashing that direction.

I haven’t watched the plays again( and never will out of sheer disgust) but this makes it even worse. Straight up coaching malpractice.
