Hearing good things about CC but that we have cooled on Dear. Supposedly his Sr tape is bad.

Glorious week and weekend. Mojo definitely restored. Georgia was a signature win. CLK now clearly entering CHF territory for me.

The play calling has progressed from D- to B+ over the last three games, primarily due to the TEs and certain RBs being allowed to join the party. In the nitpick department, I wish we had been a little less tentative in the red zone play calling against Georgia. Sometimes CLK has the face of a man playing not to loose to early in the game.

To make up for Kentucky, we need to do more than just win the next two games --- we need to go full on Cobra Kai. Sweep the leg. No mercy!

I have been critical to date so I feel obligated to comment how much better the play calling was against GA. They mixed in some short passing that was missing previously. Really hit on all cylinders. Watkins and Lee keeping us on schedule in passing game has been huge.

I didnt mind them being conservative in red zone and taking points when they are there. When the offense can run some clock and the Defense isnt gassed then they are hard to score on. Maybe the first time I’ve seen Lane not trying to be the bigger brain when he could have absolutely tried to prove a point against Mr. Defense Kirby Smart

Kiffin has surpassed Freeze. He has more wins in fewer games, both overall and in conference. Kiffin has more wins against our primary rivals than Freeze did in less games too.

It's not even close.

I was as a pretty big Freeze fanboy and I have felt Kiffin has been a step up for awhile now. It honestly didn’t take long for me to see where we were headed with him if he stuck around.

Now I agree in an era comparison, I think the Kiffin era is now rated higher than the Freeze era. This win was needed for that. Anything else this season is gravy.

If we are nitpicking, it worries me that we still can’t effectively run the ball. If we could, this offense would be unstoppable, to pair with what has become a very good defense.

this is the biggest offensive takeaway. Yes, there’s obviously room to improve, but utilizing short throws and passing through the middle did wonders. It’s what we’ve been crying out for all year. Deep bombs are great but you need to slice the D apart in order to open up the long ball. We finally did that on Saturday

Much as I despise Freeze, he was great for the program because he gave us a national profile that was not dependent on someone named Manning playing QB.

But I will take Kiffin over him every time when it comes to having a chance to win a championship.

Went and looked at his stats. Dear went from 2k yards and 28td’s last year to 1k and 7 this year.

Wonder what happened.

Agreed. We need to beat Florida like we did Arkansas. We need the narrative to be "nobody is playing as well as Ole Miss."

We need to then handle MSU at home. Their defense is terrible so this should not be the typical Egg Bowl closeness. It should be a slaughter.

Dart was playing inured all night. I am glad that we have the off week but here's to hoping he is good to go at Florida and not still banged up. They need to give him some rest and give Simmons some time practicing with the 1st string... just in case.

I sincerely hope we get up by 3 scores in both FL and MST and put Simmons in for several meaningful series. He deserves the exposure and could use the work. And he's the real deal.

It would be total WAOM to lose Dart for the playoffs with some kind of freak injury during garbage time against State. And that's the kind of injury that could get us voted out of the playoffs a la Fl State

Rivals says it is a big flip tomorrow. Also they said Nix is tampering with Dottery, J Brown and A Williams

Nix will be lucky if Freeze doesn't scapegoat him this offseason so he should be trying to stay on kiffin's good side to get a job back here.

I’m not sure, with as deep of ties as he has in Mississippi, you would have to think they’d take him back in some capacity just for recruiting purposes.

The biggest take away for me was the OL did a great job in pass pro. They have improved dramatically since Oklahoma and Kiffin basically calling out a certain RT. Now hopefully over the next month we can make the same amount of improvement run blocking.

Kiffin basically came out today and publicly said Landry was part of the reason he didn’t go to Auburn
