I’m really glad we have a BYE next week. It obviously gives us time so get some people healthy but more importantly I could totally see us having a let down game if we had to turn around and play in the swamp next week.

Gives us time to get over this win and not have a hangover game.

I didn’t see a ton of NFL talent on Georgia’s roster. Austin Simmons isn’t gonna be at Ole Miss very long and shouldn’t ever play baseball again. He has NFL arm talent and will be the best QB in the Kiffin era.

It's his team next year. He'll certainly be back.

Don’t get me wrong, I am absolutely elated about this win today. However, I still cannot believe we let LSU and Kentucky get the best of us. frickin’ LSU QB just threw his 10th pick of the season. And Kentucky, well, need I say more.

Win 1 of those 2 games and we are in a good position to win the SEC and get at worst a home playoff game in the 1st round.

Win both of those games and we are a lock for the #5 spot and in contention for the #1 spot if we win the SEC. Sucks to lose them but we are still in a good spot.

He means he might be in the league after one year as our starter next year.

Thoughts after the game

-dart is the goat. Stepped up in the moment and didn’t let the injury stop him.
-defense is the best we’ve ever had and they are locked in.
-Harris being out is forcing us to use everyone. Making this offense even more dangerous and difficult to defend.
-we better pony up and buy Simmons an Oline and a defense and we might not have to spend a ton of time rebuilding. Simmons might have helped us flip Caleb Cunningham

Reminded me A LOT of Bo Wallace against Mississippi State in 2014

The future is bright. We love us a gunslinger. so many teams would kill for a young kid with a cannon like simmons.

I think the most impressive thing isn’t his superior athletic ability. It is his brain. The kid should be a Jr/Sr in HS and will graduate from Ole Miss next year. His ability to retain information, process things and execute all rests between his ears.

Considering the only reason he is here is we promised him the opportunity to do both….not sure it would be wise to make ultimatums

We sounded like a real stadium tonight, and our defense made me proud to be an American
