It’s just so stupid to get mad at people for leaving wanting to beat traffic or go party or whatever when it’s a blowout against a shite team

This. Everybody is ready to go get loaded and laid. It would be sad if it were a close game keeping fans there against these shite teams. Fans have already shown that they will sell out and stay for entirety for any decent game.

Saturday was my first game of the season. Stayed til about 5 minutes were left. I didn't go to the Spring game so first time seeing these players in person. The Dline has 11 or 12 we can run out there and put together a 4 man front that can compete currently. #1 jumps out at you. Princely looks like he has fully healed for sure and can stand up or put his hand on the ground. On offense it's 86 and 61. Prieskorn is the best all around TE in the country imo. It's tough to cover him 1 on 1 and if you bracket him you leave your CBs on islands with Harris and Juice. Pounds is a massive kid that has really good feet. Ole Miss definitely looks the part of a top 10 team on the field.

I honestly don't understand the people that buy season tickets for 7 games a year and don't bother to make but 4 of them

I did this a couple years ago. Wanted to go to the Bama game and season tickets were cheaper than getting 1 game resale. I made it to UK and Egg Bowl and gave away my tickets for Auburn. Didn’t bother for the non con cupcakes.

Good fricking lord. I think he’s an idiot for bitching after weeks like this. There’s not a fanbase in the world staying 4 hours to watch a 50 pt win against directional bumfrick state.

I'm one of those who would tend to leave early in a blowout game. But, I go to games with an old friend who is in the M-club and he'd kick my arse if I suggested leaving with more than 10 seconds left on the clock.

Yeah, I'm in the M-club. I guess we're all stayers.

Agreed however, if this is all we have to bitch about after two weeks into the football season I'll gladly take it.

Hey Ranting quick question what is the deal with Bentley? Is he still recovering or has he just be supplanted?

He played and got carries at the end of the game last week so it doesn’t appear injury related. I’m hoping Parrish just came in a made it clear he’s the best option and not Bentley having attitude issues

M-club here as well and we stayed till about 4 min left. I do live here so it’s easier but I just love being at the game.

I'm definitely in the "stay till the end" camp, but I see the other side as well. You're right when you say no other fanbase stays when it's 50-0. Our coach is asking us to be the one who does. It ain't gonna happen, but that's what he's asking...

I am not a drinker but when a beer is $16.00 and peanuts are $5.50, I don’t blame people heading back to the Grove when it’s a huge blowout.

Maybe but our students are notoriously bad about leaving early and this is going to be a historic season and the best team of my lifetime. My dad just passed and I really hate he won't be around to see it. He got to see a baseball championship though and i never thought that was possible.

The students have actually gotten really good about staying for games the last couple years

I hear that the Wake QB is pretty good. I guess we will see how good our DBs are this week.

Here's his stats against UVA(who, at this point, probably only plays football because they have to).

27/42 403yds 64.3% 1TD 0 INT

On it's face....that looks decent. Passer rating of 152.7. However....

He was sacked 6 times and has a QB Rating of 48.1.

Yes....UVA is 2-0 so far on the season but week 1 opponent was FCS Richmond. Is UVA decent or is Wake that bad?

ETA: Wake gave up 14 unanswered points in the 4th quarter.

Bentley is dealing with a turf toe injury which has caused him to have frustration and a bad attitude. I don’t anticipate this handicapping him in any way down the stretch. Lane knows he is able to fix the attitude with the preseason schedule. Not a big deal
