But the thing is it sounds like he DID take the classes needed to qualify. NCAA just decided the school was no longer good enough.

First, they played Temple. Secondly, OU’s OL was letting that new QB get pressured all night. If they can’t block Temple they won’t be able to come close to handle the shite we will be throwing at them. If they don’t improve drastically it will be a long year.

Oh, don’t get me wrong I’m not rooting for them in anyway. Just not expecting them to look quite so good. I’m gathering temple is extra shitty though.

And that’s the good for him part.
Sucks that the ncaa didn’t accept the transcript. I know he has talent and it is a shame he will never realize his potential.

I heard it never got to the NCAA clearing house. That the SEC denied the transcript.

It’s pretty crazy how deep this team is. That defense has a chance to be elite this year. Austin Simmons has an absolute cannon for an arm. If he puts it all together he’s gonna be a special QB for us.

It is hilarious seeing all the speculation about Lane heading to Florida if offered. Do those dumbasses even read anything that has been published over the past year (ie. Chris Lowe just did a great article no ESPN)?
