The unis are ok but with each passing week I slowly realize that the OM uniforms I grew up with (grey pants and actually utilizing our navy color somewhere on the uniform) are long gone.

I could never see the white helmets again and be fine with it. Our blue helmets are the best in the game. Hell, I even like the Realtree helmets but the solid white is arse.

While I do not like the all-white get-up, Nebraska traditionally wears red pants on the road.

We've worn white pants in 75% of our games under Kiffin. It's a little sad. I'd like to the red jerseys and navy pants more. We also have an outstanding navy blue helmet we need to wear as well. At least Kiffin has worn navy and gray in the Egg Bowl.

I like what Napier has done to Florida's uniforms, returning them to their classic sets, although they will have a horrendous all-black get-up for a home game against Arkansas this season.

It's almost as if they decided to change our 3rd official color from gray to Tarheel blue. My favorite combo will always be navy helmets, red jerseys, gray pants.

We have worn that combination once during the Kiffin tenure . . . 35 months ago.

Oddly enough I am kind of curmudgeony about traditions and hating change when it comes to the Rebs and the state of college football , however the uniforms for whatever reason just don’t irk me, doesn’t bother me really at all we have strayed away from the old school uniforms and jerseys

I definitely have my favorite Uniform combo but I'm fine with the players deciding on what they're wearing.

feel good; you play good*

I liked the white pants when we wore them occasionally. See Tejas Tech, 2018. But now we don't look like Ole Miss anymore.

I also tend to complain frequently on tRebalRant, so take it for what it's worth.

So one more time, and I'm never commenting on it again until the next time, our best combo is navy helmet, red jersey, gray pants. And it ain't close. But the players can do whatever they want as long as they win. Once the game is underway and we win, I don't even notice unis.

Maybe so. Winning usually cures everything.

And I assume they are keeping the powder blue headgear in our holster until Alabama.

This is still gonna be an elite uni game but it would've been an all-timer if we could have somehow worn the red tops. I love the Tulane unis.

so whats the word on that stud linebacker for Tulane? Last I heard he wasn't going to play but buddy I just got off the phone with couldn't remember if it was the linebacker or the QB that might end up playing.

Line went from -7.5 to -6.5.

Michael Pratt (QB) will play.
Corey Platt (LB) will not play.

5 days ago the line was Ole Miss -3.5. That jumped up to -7.5, and then went down to -6.5 this afternoon. It'll probably keep jumping around in that range.

Tulane is refusing to give sideline passes for any OM employees and they took the cooling stations and benches off the away sideline. This is all in response by their coach to Lane refusing to let them warm up in the indoor practice field in 2021. Ridiculous. I was excited about playing there but frick this. Such a shitty passive aggressive move by their coach. It’s dangerous

Definitely petty, but not dangerous. We just have to bring our own benches and cooling stations now. A head ache, but not a massive deal
