Massive pickup for us. Should be a 3 or 4 year starter for us on the inside

Rashada pushed commitment date back a week. Oregon now out but seems to be trending towards Florida and Miami

I don’t think we get him. Seeing where it may be that he wants a big payday even though the rules clearly prohibit this. We’d be the only ones to get busted for it.

Picked up another commitment today.
Ahmad Brown 3* WR/S
Only a 3 star but had offers from Clemson, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas, and Tennessee.

He is a 4* on other services and had 22 offers from legit schools. In fact he was thought to be going Clemson. Also funny fact but it looks like he goes by AJ

Arch to Texas. Surprised it's not UGA

This does not bother me in the least. I thought it would.

Kid is gonna bust harder than Brent Schaefer, Tig Barksdale, Pat Patterson, Jamal Pittman, Enreeky Davis, and Snoop Brassel combined.

Same. I never expected us to get him.

I just hope Lane trolls the Mannings

At least it wasn’t Alabama or LSU

So are we only taking 1 QB this class? Rashada is going to Miami.

This is stuck in idle. Wondering why. NIL?

For myself, I am so checked out on recruiting
The bidding up publicly of these NIL deals and open negotiating it seems is really off-putting to me
I just don’t care to get invested anymore when a third party snipes us in a bigger deal at the last minute to sway these recruits for this business decision

At this point I think transfers are at least, if not more important than high school recruits.

In this landscape, I only see us relying on transfers to be competitive. I’m okay with it instead of having to wait on developing position players honestly. The NIL has killed recruiting interest for me as well

NIL will sort itself out within 3-4 years. Once these companies that give out these million dollar deals get burned enough, they will put less into it

I think we are seeing exactly what was predicted: money luring kids by the dozens to places like A&M, Texas, Miami and maybe even Alabama, though their success may be more the reason why.

They need to implement salary caps if NIL is gonna work. Otherwise we better find ourselves the next Billy Beane.
