I think we blow Florida out.
Too much momentum and the crowd will be rocking. I’m expecting big hits and long demoralizing touchdown drives.

Lane keeping Bentley on the bench last season, especially in the Florida game, is the reason why we didn't make the CFP. The blame for that loss rests on his shoulders.

Why do our fans act like Bentley was an NFL caliber player? Oh Wait…never mind, mods pls delete.

Never getting a satisfactory answer as to why he wasn't getting touches is more frustrating than anything else during Lane's tenure. The complete silence in the face of the scrutiny should be embarrassing to the entire staff but I'm pretty sure they're all mildly to severely autistic.

GTFO of here with this bullshite.
In the Flarda game, we gave the ball to defensive tackles and wide receivers rather than a runningback. I've analyzed this shite before, and I'll do it again, but the point is still the same - the Florida loss is at Lane's feet and Lane's alone for not even trying to use our fricking runningbacks.
Here are the key moments:
1. It's 3rd and 4 from the Florida 14 with 5:45 to go in the 1st quarter. The game is tied 0-0. We run Micah Davis, a wide receiver, for 1 yard. It's now 4th and 1 from the Florida 11 with 5:36 to go in the 1st quarter. We run JJ Pegues, a defensive tackle, and he is stuffed. We turn the ball over on downs and do not pick up any points.
2. It's 4th and 1 from the Florida 10 with 5:43 left in the 3rd quarter. We are trailing 17-14. We run JJ Pegues, a defensive tackle, and he is stuffed once again. We turn the ball over on downs, and do not pick up any points.
Was there any guarantee Bentley would pick up a first down on 4th and 1 deep in Gator territory? No, of course not. But running the ball, after all, is his position.
In the Flarda game, RBs had just 4 carries, while WRs and DTs had 14. The RB who was sitting on the bench had rushed for 2,385 career yards before that game.
Why didn't we just give him the ball once?

I think he said that as sarcasm. He's on the Colts roster.

There is a lot of hyperbole coming from that side, but Florida is really talented this year, aside from DJ looking more and more like a complete bust.
Even with all of that talent, it's been coached like shite all the way until about four weeks ago. In some ways (not every way), Florida is back at the beginning of the season figuring out what they are now that Napier isn't imposing what the offense has to be.
No sure individual metrics matter all that much to be honest though. Ole Miss is a good TEAM. What has impressed me the most this year is that they have managed to win a couple of different ways, and there are enough pieces there that Chambliss can be mediocre and they can still win.
The defense at UF is legit though. They also aren't going to get spooked if they get down early. The one thing, maybe the only thing, I'll give Napier is that his teams play all four quarters. Usually this is because Napier called such a shitty fourth quarter that teams get back in the game even when Florida is up, but even in the loses, they play to the end.
I think Ole Miss should win the game. I think the Vaught is more of a factor for Ole Miss staying hyped than throwing Florida off, but I imagine it's going to be at full tilt for this game.
However, Florida really does have a lot of talent who probably would have won a lot more games this year with competent coaching. They could definitely be a handful if a team got them on a night where everything finally clicked. They could also have a night where DJ throw five picks again. He's just shite at reading defenses and adjusting (see the fourth down play in the WLOCP last week that cost UF the game). He's a complete liability back there as of now, and I don't think Billy G. would bench him regardless of how bad he looks. Apparently, there is a lot of BS behind the scenes with that whole situation.

Who would have ever thought our win over Tulane would end up being better on our resume than the LSU win....

New Orleans is better than Red Stick.
The math checks out.

As much as it sucks rooting for State, them beating UGA would probably be a good outcome for us

True. But it would also make blowing the lead in Athens sting more

They wouldn't be playing the Egg Bowl for bowl eligibility.

They said he’s questionable to return which makes me think it’s not that serious but they’re not going to risk him getting hurt further

He looks awfully ginger walking to the locker room
