And what exactly does that accomplish? He still isn't getting fired THIS season.
It sends a message that the administration and Good Ol' Boys can't make a decision and expect everyone to fall in line and continue supporting the team

I appreciate your persistence, unfortunately we are going to have to wait on the new chancellor.

We never should have fired Freeze. We should have let him deal with his personal issues privately.

Why keep talking about firing Luke if we know now it isn't happening.

Because if we all demand it, then he’s fired.

No matter how much we talk about it, it's apparent it isn't happening this season. So why keep beating the horse. Pick the convo up next year.

In the off chance that the athletic department checks message boards I want them to see we’re still pissed.

They'll know we pissed when they see half full stands during SEC games and they have to figure out how to pay that SOB $12MM over 4 years....

They got themselves in this situation they can bail themselves out.. We shouldn't pay shite...

FOOTBALL: According to multiple reports, WVU offensive coordinator Jake Spavital will become the head coach at Texas State.

Link from The DA Online

quote:

West Virginia offensive coordinator will be the next head coach at Texas State, according to Keff Ciardello of the Austin American-Statesman. Spavital will replace Everett Withers, who was fired after three seasons. Texas State went 2-10 his first two seasons before going 3-8 in 2018. WVU’s offense ranked among the best statistically under Spavital’s guidance. In 2017, WVU ranked No. 13 in passing offense and No. 20 in total offense. This season, WVU is No. 14 in total offense and No. 9 in scoring offense. Spavital’s quarterback, Will Grier, is one of the top Heisman finalists this year as his 3,864 passing yards are fourth nationally and his 37 passing touchdowns are tied for second nationally, both despite playing just 11 regular season games due to the cancellation of the NC State contest.

Looking forward to another year of field goals in the red zone.

So if Matt Luke sees and knows how to fix the red zone issues like he claimed in his press conference, why didn’t he do it midseason? He’s so full of shite.

They went with a guy who could put together an offense that could score from the red zone and put scores up on FBS teams.
