Things I don’t remember from last night: making posts on tRant and drunkenly deciding I’m taking the fam to Phoenix next week. At least I was coherent enough to log in and use miles for the flight and hotel, now I just have to figure out how to afford the game tickets…

With it being a Thursday I can't make Phoenix work, but I already have everything booked (refundable) for Miami

Alright guys. From what I’ve read, Miami is pretty nasty up front on both sides of the ball. Pete is going to have to find a way to effectively rotate our defensive front. Even better than he did against UGA this week. It’s going to be a challenge. OL is going to have to be locked in as well.

Anyone heard an update on Kam Franklin? Broadcast said he was in street clothes after his collision with Harris so I assume he is out, but that would be a big loss.

At the end of the day, losing them right now won’t make a huge impact. Weis would have been an issue

Gonna have to gameplan around Bain Jr specifically the same way we did for Stewart at USCe.

They win up front. Gonna have to stretch them horizontally with our skill players to have a chance

South Carolina is a good comp. Last year they had Stewart and Kinnard on the edges but not much else. We have to get the ball out fast, make tacklers miss, and run up the middle to keep safeties honest.

Honestly, Sellers is probably better than Beck and we held him to 3 points. But that was with a stronger DLine. I think if Miami scores less than 24 we win.

The Kevin smith situation is interesting. Think there is an answer to where Lacy is next year but not sure what it is. Either he's committed to LSU and lane doesn't think Smith needs to be there to keep him from changing his mind or Lacy is staying and lane doesn't want smith there if he can't get Lacy. If it was a tossup, kiffin would tell smith to stay and keep recruiting Lacy

Tempo. Absolute nascar speed. Sure Bain will be charged up and likely wreak havoc at the beginning but we can wear him down and tire him out if we pedal to the metal.

This is what they are not used to seeing is actual functioning tempo. That’s our advantage .

If Lacy goes to LSU, they will be in BIG $$ at RB. They gave Berry a big deal out of high school and I doubt he’s taking a pay cut to stay.

At this point I just can't fathom the thought of any of these major contributors coming into Oxford next year wearing that ugly fricking yellow and purple. I want us to do whatever is necessary to keep them. I really am shocked Kevin smith let kiffin force him to quit on these guys.

Tre Wisner one of the top portal RBs is scheduled to visit us. If we are recruiting all these RBs in the portal it makes you wonder if Lacey is gone.

Lacy or not we need another RB since Diggs is done after this year. Maybe that’s all it is.

I love Lacy, I want him to stay. I am happy to overpay but only so much.

The $1.8 that’s been thrown around is crazy. That’s a top rb and a starting lineman or edge rusher. He’s gotten a frickton of carries and he is big on contact. Running backs with 350 or more touches have a proven track record of being down the following year. Lacy is over 325 touches, and first or second in the ncaa in that category.

Pay the man but don’t be stupid to keep him from LSU.
