If he coaches the playoffs our entire run becomes an LSU commercial. Is that what you want? Oh, we would also have LSU's coach running our signing day and we would probably miss out on the portal too. It's a non starter. We should have suspended him last week and inked Sumrall.

Lane wants desperately to avoid being labeled the villain, but that's just not happening when he leaves. The longer he drags this out, the worse it's gonna be for him. He's made sure the spot light was on him the past month - not about the amazing story of Chambliss, not about Lacy setting records, but squarely on him.

I genuinely don’t think LSU would wait longer than 24-48 hours. If he pulls that, they will move on

Whether he is undecided or not is pure speculation.
