And another one. 3*, only rated by rivals but reports offers from Texas A&M and Oregon

3* QB. Choose us over Vandy, Memphis, and South Florida. Clearly QB #2 for us this class

Apparently this guy grew up as an Ole Miss fan. I can appreciate that.

He's where he wants to be unlike 90% of his peers.

Thats cool and all, but him being a fan is literally one of the least important factors we should take into consideration when recruiting someone

We always need scout team QBs. I doubt he will ever see the field.

But then again, Patrick Willis was a 2*/3* depending on the source.

Just because he’s a 3 star doesn’t mean he can’t become a constant contributor, but the statistics clearly show most of the best players are 4-5 stars.

4* Safety Darrell Mattison is reported to be a silent commit and people expect him to make it official on his upcoming OV. was recently committed to Michigan

We've also received very recent predictions from some national recruiting guys to land two 4* WRs.

Cade Cooper is from PA and up until very recently was though to be leaning towards ND. National guys are now saying a commitment to us is expected soon.

Alvin Mosley is from TX and is projected to commit to us soon over his other finalists Texas and Houston.

Both WRs are listed 6'2. Which just goes with the overall theme we seem to be seeing about Golding wanting his team overall to just be bigger than Kiffin tended to lean.

ETA: interesting note on our main QB commit Keegan Croucher. Rivals/On3 is super high on this kid and he's ranked their #4 overall QB in the country.

I want his running back. The kid looks like a stud

100% a stud. Seems to be leaning strongly towards Ohio State though.

We've now also received a prediction to land 4* DE Marvin Nguetsop.

He's originally from Germany but began playing football and moved over to a prep school in Connecticut to continue his development in the US. He's 6'7 and 275 pounds, with a frame to add more weight.

Raw given he only recently began playing, but he's rated a 4* and is scheduled to take official visits to Michigan, Tennessee, UGA, and Kentucky. All 4 of those schools are reportedly legitimately pursuing him too.

Should be Darrell Mattison, he's scheduled to announce tonight at 6:30pm.

4* safety from Illinois and was committed to Michigan until this flip.

Darrell Mattison has officially committed to Ole Miss from a final 5 of us, Michigan, Penn St, Indiana, and Illinois.

Had been committed to Michigan.

Interesting tidbit, with Darrell committing we now have 6 4*s committed so far in this class, marching to total number of HS 4* we signed total last year.

Hopefully it’s not another 3 star or low 4 star we pretend we stole from someone.

Best guess is that it's one of:

Antonio Keefer 4* OG from Memphis. Rumored to be a silent commit. Top 3 of us, LSU, and Ohio State

Miguel Whitley who is a 4* WR from Louisiana. Had been receiving a lot of predictions to commit to LSU, and he's a high priority for them. However, he's on campus this week and a couple national guys are now saying we could land his commitment soon. Has offers from everyone but appears to also be interested in Ohio State and basically all the Texas schools.

That 4* DE from Germany who is being recruited by everyone in the Big10 / Tennessee I posted about on the previous page.

Sounds like Ole Miss is going to land Whitley. He’s a stud. I do think Ole Miss is going to be able to offer more for Whitley after what Easton Royal will cost LSU.

Sucks because I loved recruiting for years but NIL and the portal have changed everything. I get the impression LSU is shooting for 15-18 top HS kids and portal the rest. I would like to be patient and develop more guys but I think kids will just immediately leave if they aren’t playing anyway.
