speech Bush gave after 9/11

Seriously? The "rid the world of evil doers" speech? That one made me puke! I was sitting in a bar close to Emory, everyone watched in silence. The entire speech made me sick about the fate of the country and the world.

I will go with Lincoln all time, cause he brought the country together, basically the opposite of the sitting President.

For in my lifetime though, there is only one, and that is Ronald Reagan. Far and away the best President in my lifetime.

None. They have all sucked arse.

We should be a straight democracy. No presidency needed. Checks and balances are overrated.

Abraham Lincoln. It's not even really debatable.

1 million americans died under his watch as a result of the war. I'd say there is room for debate.

I've always thought that James K. Polk needs more love.

some of his accomplishments:

Youngest president elected.
Honored vow to serve only 1 term
admitted Texas, Wisconsin, and Iowa as states to the union
added the Oregon territory to the union

Polk was just a badass that knew how to use the power of this great country and didnt get caught up in all the political bullshite.

James Madison. Probably the smartest president we ever had.

Jackson.

He promoted local governance and local solutions. He threaded the needle on sectional issues, refusing to let either side provoke a conflict. Modern critics excoriate him for Indian removal, but that decision did not occur in a vacuum. The state was moving to expel the Cherokee anyway, he took it out of their hands and saved lives in the process. The expulsion was neither kind, nor particularly fair, but little in life is.

Polk absolutely does deserve more love!

My favorites were both of the Roosevelts, Polk & Washington, in no particular order.
