Man the South Carolina growth has to slow down at some point. A lot of companies have enforced return to office so I can’t figure out who is making up the majority of those numbers. Wealthy retirees I guess? Charleston has changed so much even in the last 5 years.

All those people that moved to Arkansas must love slumming.

Please spread the word on how terrible it is girl. It's getting ridiculous here in NW Arkansas.

No, people move to South Carolina because it's way better than where they live. Especially Greenville where I live, it's getting ridiculous.

People are fleeing high tax states like crazy.

And 80% of them will vote for high tax leftists wherever they land.

It's getting insane at this point.

Tennessee used to be my backup plan if things went bad in Texas (far too many Californians moved to Austin). Looks like I need to rethink that. My backup plan now might just be to plunge into the heart of darkness and try Florida.

Charleston and the Lowcountry used to be a unique area of the country, quiet, cultured, and preserved in an Old World way. Now, it's basically Connecticut with a bunch of midwesterners. So sad to see the overdevelopment of the marsh and coast

NC is a nice state but the decline could be due to all the liberalness going on idk.

South Carolina is a very nice state having spent some time there.

Poor N Dakota -0.1

Idaho is the next victim of Californication now that they're done with Colorado.

Missouri is not doing great there, but lol @ kansas.

Its awful. Traffic is insane, the airports are overcrowded, and local culture is dying. People just move to TN for a tax break now and don't care about the actual state. Its destroying the wildlife in the state and pricing out people that have been raised in the state

Mostly Nashville, although Knoxville prices have risen quite a bit in recent years. It's nothing like when we lived there in mid-90's.

The traffic in Nashville is awful. Insane prices.

Yeah, you’re at least five years too late. Yankees have invaded

Florida is FULL. These locusts need to stay and fix the places they broke through their voting habits. Half of the newcomers to FL since COVID require some form of social assistance (EBT, Sec 8, etc...).

Most people moving to Florida are doing so because they're retired. Those that aren't retired are nearing retirement age and coming mostly from the south, according to the Miami Herald at least....highly doubtful either group voted differently where they came from or need public assistance.

Atlanta has been experiencing massive growth since 1950 and, as an native ATLien, Atlanta is far better place to live and work in 2026 than it was in 1970....can't say what it was like before 1965 but can remember Atlanta very well from around 1972 - 2000. It is much improved since then and the influx of new residents is largely responsible for this improvement. Of course if you are the type of person who thinks Panama City Beach and Gatlinburg are exciting vacation destinations you probably disagree.
