What does your co-worker do to you that sends you into a fit?

I tell our secretary to screen my calls about an hour at a time when I have to complete a load of paperwork uninterrupted. I'll then return any missed calls after the hour of work, and repeat this throughout the day. Apparently she doesn't understand this process when someone calls for me and will walk into my office with the cordless phone, while the line is live and not muted (so whoever's on there can hear) and ask me, "Are you in right now?"

I'm like, "I guess I am now."

Wait... aren't you self employed?

Sends me an email saying "did you get my email?"

My manager has said some very very inappropriate stuff at work. Like blatantly racist among other things. Like I felt embarrassed to have heard it. And that's super bad at my company because they pride themselves on being the most diverse around and super politically correct.

I've always had a problem with people telling me stuff they shouldn't and I don't want to know.

Coworker: I have a big secret
Me: i don't care
Coworker: do you want me to share it. It's really huge.
Me: no
Coworker: ok, I'll share it with you but you have to remember this is a secret and you can't tell anyone.

I have one that mumbles a lot and is very protective of his radio and stapler. It's odd.

She says the dumbest shite....

"The effects of smoking while pregnant are a myth."

"You refill the same water bottle with water? Be careful, the plastic will give you cancer. It's best to just be cautious and grab a new water."

"I'm about to raise hell at the school. My son just got kicked out of class and had his headphones confiscated by the teacher for listening to them during class!!!!!"

"I can't believe my son didn't get a state ring. He played on the team before his injury. Yeah, he chose to quit, because he didn't want to sit through practices on the bench."

The list goes on...

Ant-Social as in refusing to do what is asked not following rules, which is why you have Conduct Disorder. But most times it is anxiety as the root cause, but she refuses to believe it and wants to change a medical professionals diagnosis.

I also think she wants them out of the building.

Nothing currently. Most people here are pretty chill.


At my last job there was a woman that always came in my office at lunch asking what I was eating. I usually bring my lunch from home, and it's often leftovers. She always hinted around at me offering some to her. So damn annoying. Even when I'd close the door, she'd knock and come in.
