Before I go any further, I want to make it clear the reason I believe his parents were wrong for calling him Gaylord, is not because being gay is wrong, but because they should know our society contains retards who can't understand why they should treat gay people right and they put their own creation center of mass in the cross hairs of these bigots.
If you a normal name, that does not give mouth-breathers a reason to frick with you, you should take this opportunity to call your creators and thank them for sparing you what this kid has experienced. These parents really disappoint me, children deserve better than that.
For that young man, I hope he comes to learn that names earned are far more important than names given. I hope this is a bullshite news story.

That is one screwed up family. On more then just the kid's name.

If you be a normal name, that does not give RanTards a reason to praise and worship you, you should take this opportunity to call your creators and thank them for allowing you to sparkle, twinkle, and shine. These parents are the ginchiest, children deserve all that and more.
For that young man, I hope he comes to learn that names earned don't mean shite in real life and it's all about your given name.
Good points; really well stated.

Should have named him Sue. That way he would grow up tough.

I don't blame him. He should also sue them for letting him get a haircut like that.

Is “Missouri family” about to replace “Florida man” as an automatic lead-in to some fricked up shite?

Why not just wait a year and ask your parents to pay whatever it costs to legally change your name?
Shouldn't be that complicated

[spoiler alert] The Onion is way better than World Daily News Report. They are at least funny in their fake stories/headlines.

Women and jobs use the tiniest reason to pass by a candidate. If Gaylord and Brian have practically identical resumes who do you think they are going to hire? They've done research that people with normal names spelled outside the norm are less successful than people with normal names. Examples Ashley-Ashlee, Aaron-Erin, Amy-Aimee, etc. I'm sure the same applies for weird as hell names.
