applied to UT
got acceptance letter a week later
I just realized that I only applied to 1 school without any backup plan. out of the state tuition was out of the question. Vandy was expensive and I wanted to get out of my parents' house in Nashville.

Yeah. Guess that explains that. I wanted to apply to UGA but I heard unless you're a scholar and in-state it's impossible to get in. If you're out of state you have to pretty much have a cure for cancer to get into UGA.

It won't unless you only apply to schools that you have no chance of being rejected from. As a middle class white male, you are pretty much fricked when it comes to professional programs. No one wants you, even though our kind makes up the vast majority of the applicant pool.
