but I think they're incorrectly estimating the rest of Jefferson County. Based on the number already counted, I'd think the uncounted precincts are rural, which would make it close. If they're not rural, though, this one is over and Roy can ride his horse back home.

Probably more because he’s a scumbag leftist that represents an ideology that despises individualism in favor of collectivism, and generally wants to eradicate everything that the United States was founded upon in favor of replacing it with European socialism.

That, and he’s down to kill children until he believes that life begins, which he hasn’t made clear when that time is, so one can only deduce that it’s at age 18.

Both shitty parties are a shittier version of the other. Y’all are mirror fricking images of the same scumfrick a-hole.

If you had a lick of sense, you’d swear off the tribalism party facade.

What a dumbass.

Steroids have shrunk your brain as much as your testicles. I post mostly on the OT and the SECr.

And I was right about Jefferson County, you semiliterate frickstick. Look at the numbers then and the final margin now.

Tonight, I am thankful for two things, Roy Moore is out of politics forever and TiM has never produced any offspring.

I was wondering why you were so harsh on TnM83 until he started posting this morning. I now see what you were talking about.

I voted against Moore, which is the most accurate way to describe it.

You have to ask yourself... considering that the Republicans run against abortion every election cycle could they really afford to repeal it? Its the main rallying cry for the evangelicals and without abortion would they start looking at some Republican policies and turn away?

I'm so fricking proud of my Home Sweet Home Alabama! When I was at work today I was fricking giddy. I joked that as a dyed in the wool conservative republican the best birthday present that I had ever received (turned 49 yesterday) was a lib/dem Alabama Senator. My German colleagues got quite a laugh out it, but one mentioned that it was still shocking that Moore got nearly half the vote. I told him not to be fooled by that because even though the crossover vote was not substantial it was the 800,000+ republicans whose conscience kept them at home that were the deciding factor. It was a massive rebuke of a repulsive candidate, not to mention that cocksucker Bannon and his fagotty band of faux intellectual millennial racists.

By my math roughly 50% of Alabamians abstained, 25% voted for jones, 2% cast protest votes, and a meager 23% for Cowboy Jesus. That's ruffly 77% decency. Even if you deduct some for Dims who would've voted for Jones even if he really were infanticidal you're still around 70% decency.

I think the main reason they don't do it is because it makes no sense burden our society and economy with a bunch of unwanted kids. Plus the optics of do it yourself abortion are really bad in a supposedly civilized society (i.e. when I was a kid one of our neighbors tried to give his girlfriend/jailed brothers wife an abortion with an air compressor and a blow gun). Didn't end well. But your point is truly excellent. I'd never delved deeper than the pragmatic obvious but your logic seems unassailabe on the face of it.

This thread is 3 pages long, on the wrong board, and is already better than anything on the Political Talk Board.

See how neat it is to allow people with differing opinions to hash it out without censoring the side you don’t agree with?

No, they can't. I voted for Jones, but I know plenty of people my age (I'm 30) who saw this election as a pedophile vs. a baby murder. I can pull up tons of people I know on Facebook that flat out say they will never vote for a Democrat because of the abortion issue.

I'm proud Alabama did what was right, but a man like Roy Moore should never make an election that close. The day he is finally out of politics for good will be a great day for Alabama. Sadly, I don't see that happening until the day he dies.
