If you told your Dad to "F*** off" as a kid, what would have happened?

Just to make sure I'm sane, a friend of mine's kid just started mouthing off to him obscenely... and he did nothing. NOTHING! I didn't say a thing either, out of pure shock. My Dad would have sent me through the nearest window if I ever tried that.
I honestly have no idea what I would do if my kids had done that, cause we disciplined yes sir and no mam into them pretty hard and such a situation never occurred.

I said something similar once...once.

I would not be typing this response as I would not be alive right now.

Nothing as I didn't have a dad living at home.
If said to my mom or grandpa i would've had them beat me like Toby.

I would have not been able to feel my arse for a couple weeks

I wouldn't be sitting here typing this sentence.

Would never even tried to think of saying something to my Dad like that nor my Mom. Would never have said anything like that to any of my elders either. If I had, like someone above me stated, I don't believe I would have been around.

I did. Many times. Nothing happened.

Probably have been one of the last things I ever said.
What I really hate is hearing kids call their parents by their first name. I can't stand that shite. Damn neighbor's kids do that. Instead of mom and dad they call them John and Jane. Makes me want to punch them.

Same thing as cas4t but with my fist. I did it once.
By the time I could take him I respected him too much to do so.

Depends on age:
7-14: Sitting on a pillow for a couple of weeks.
15-18: Walked to school for the rest of the year.
19+: Would have been forced to work 3 jobs to pay for college all myself.
Now: "Buck call? No I don't have a buck call."

My older brother did that to my step-dad (staff sgt - Marines, Vietnam Vet). In the blink of an eye, my brother (15 at the time) was up against the wall with a hand firmly fastened to his throat. They never got along, but that was the end of the big talking.

I actually did do this.
My dad's response was to hit me repeatedly with a bat.

Never said anything to my dad, but there's a generation of future parents (myself included at 31) watching all these shitty emotional parents raising shite kids that will wind up sucking the life out of this society because they constantly need confirmation without any discipline, and our kids will rule the world because we watched our friends frick up, and most of us Generation Y kids got the front end of these little prissy arse kids and didn't like them.
I don't think that's a run on sentence, but I reserve all rights for edit.

I was too terrified of my dad to do that in my younger age. I was still worried about his "dad strength" as a teenager but didn't talk that way more out of respect than fear. I'm pretty sure if I had ever done that though, we would have made the news.
