What can I say, I enjoy old music. I grew up listening to the 60s and 70s from my parents. My favorite group ever are the Eagles.

IMO, the problem with rap is it went from being about the lyrics in the 90s to being about the beat and "thug" life.
Some of the older stuff is corny by modern standards but it actually meant something. Sometimes I wonder if mainstream rap artists these days are just going for the title of most offensive/controversial.

I can listen to a good beat lyricless. Most of the time, I'd prefer it over hearing about sippin drank and cumloadin' up bitches.
