I am an avid crappie angler during the spring and summer months, ive been to Grenada Mississippi, but Missouri crappie don't cut it. Does anyone know of any other good crappie lakes besides the mississippi lakes that produce some slabs

What about Lake Wise in Alabama?
Say a UK truck towing a boat near Tuscaloosa last week.

The only lakes I've been to were the missouri lakes (waste of time tbh) and grenada I'll have to try that lake in Alabama

Lake Weiss Alabama. Crappie Capitol of the world. The lake is covered up from early February to early April with Kentuckians.

Arkabutla, Enid and Sardis.
Hurts my soul to throw back an 11.75" slab though... There's a special place in hell reserved for the biologists that decided on 12" instead of 10".

I went to Grenada a couple years ago took a guide out for my first day out me being unfamiliar with the Lake we had to throw back quite a few fish that were just barely under the 12 inch mark.

None in Georgia because the big bass population has to feed.

Its wierd that all 6 of the Arkansas lakes listed on that top 50 don't denote the state but all others do.

If you aren't catching quality fish at Truman and Mark Twain, the lake isn't the problem.

Grenada is such a shitty white trash town...

Mark Twain has alot of small fish don't get me wrong I've caught a couple decent keepers but most people will agree who has fished that lake there are way more 9 inch and under fish up there.

Cow pasture Lake in my hometown....Old man passed and his wife won't let folks fish it. Damn shame. Uncle caught a 2.7 lb out of it that was like 2 oz off state record back in the early 90's

Lake Eufaula, AL. is big time for crappie fishermen, lots of bream there too. It promotes as a big bass lake, but for locals it's all about the pan fish there.
