Have you read all the books? Her storyline is gonna get a whole lot worse before it gets any better

BTW Asha/Yara's spiel was pretty awesome. She's my second favorite female badass in this series.

Agree about Asha.
The episode kinda wrapped the series up in a good stopping point if HBO wants to cancel the show like they did Deadwood and Carnival.
I too wanted to see undead Catelyn.
Overall, through 3 seasons I think HBO and it's writers have done a good job.

Game of Thrones has been a spectacular success for HBO, right? Why would they wrap it up prematurely?

It's the second highest rated show behind The Sopranos for them and there's been no budget issues like there was with Rome. It's not going anywhere.

I mean, the Red Wedding made national news. When the Today Show is talking about an HBO program, they have a grand slam on their hands.

I enjoyed Arya taking that next step toward Braavos...

Literally every scene last night was money save for Dany crowd surfing.

Didn't make sense for them to stop Deadwood but they did b/c Milch was bored and wanted to make John in Cincinnati.
I hope they keep GOT going though, they've done a great job so far. I enjoy it as much as the books and actually like the changes they've made. Well done.

I can say with certainty the writers aren't bored with it at this juncture.

which writer?
The tv writer has some work to do once they get to the second half of 4th book and 5th book.

If they shoot it chronologically (4th and 5th combined) they'll be fine. They've shown at this point that they know how to trim the fat to make a more efficient show.
I get that you don't like the last two books but you also admittedly "just skimmed" A Dance With Dragons too.

Ya I did, but I have read a lot of these kinds of books and am just giving my reaction to it. I will read it again, but my reading schedule is kind of backed up.
And this a great series, but he needs to pick it up in the next two to maintain everyone's love of it. He also needs to pick it because it seems like the story still has a lot of places it needs to go in order for us to get some closure.
And I would be saying the same thing about a 3 book stretch in my favorite series.

I guess I'm the only one who sees the light at the end of the tunnel. Based on where we left off with a lot of the more important stories at the end of DwD, I think he has it set up to advance the overall story rapidly in the first few hundred pages of WoW.

The three heads of the dragon: Dany, Jon, and Tyrion. Coming to frick shite up.
