Agree with that.

OhU coming to town has me waxing nostalgic. Tubbs and Norm was peak Big8 ball. It seemed Iike shite weather always ushered the Sooners into to town. A 32 oz cup of SoCo and Mountain Dew. The Hearnes rocking. What a time.

We suck.
We are winning more than we should, but we suck.

We do not turn our noses up at Wins, no matter how atrocious we looked getting there.
On to the next.

On the plus side, Barrett had an absolutely masterful game in his first start.
Does Robinson transfer at the end of the year?

Robinson
He looks less explosive. Last year when he decided to drive, he was hard to stay with. Maybe the tape is out on him and he doesn't have a counter. His scoring is getting worse every game.

Where would Ant go and start?
G5?
Sideshow Bob is crafty around the rim but is still Temu Phil Pressly (nuke hat tip).
Good win. With weather watched most of it ... but Alabama should be solid double digit favorites on Tuesday and cover easily as the offensive droughts will happen when the coaching is this bad ...

Phil Pressey’s been memory holed here. Obviously a good player for us but he cost us some games his final year. Did average 7 assists a game but paired that with 3.5 turnovers a game (turnovers or ill advised shots). I remember him turning into an absolutely liability in the final minutes of games that year. Losing Dixon and not being able to put his a** on the bench a time or two hurt us.

Sideshow Bob! Yes! I knew he reminded me of someone!

Was just in the old grey lady for my nephew’s graduation in December. The memories came flooding back. Man, we bitched about that place for years, including me, but when it was rocking on a wintry Saturday afternoon it was intimidating as frick.

It was a fun, loud place the undefeated Big 8 season. That KU game and the NU game that sealed it. Wow. Special experiences.

I wouldn't compare TO to pressey. TO is phenomenally physical for a PG and can flat out battle on the boards and even finish in the trees. Phil was a better outside shooter. I love that TO can get into the lane any time he wants and not just to look for kickout passes.

Yeah, I stole that from Nuke cause it was funny ...

The problem with TO is that he really can't shoot and if the opponent doesn't respect at least a 15-17 footer off the catch/dribble, TO will be easy to defend, back off and expect help ...
Oklahoma defense was garbage which is why he got to the rim so often and why they have lost 6 in a row ... most of the rest of the SEC will defend TO with a "backoff/let him shoot" and help defense when he goes into the trees ...
TO has definitely passed Ant from a PG standpoint but he's still good for 3-5 WTF turnovers at the most inopportune moments in games (just like Phil Pressey).

TO got to the rim at Florida last year when they won it all. He is great against pressure D.

In the Auburn game, TO had three or so turnovers where I was concerned that he was suffering from seizures on the court or that he was doing some mobster a favor.
