It’s kansas. No upper case for that place.

kU’s Linebacker group is hard hit by injuries.

It was an interesting night in terms of rushing down success.
18 1st down carries for 58 yds (3.22 YPC), 3 TDs and a long run of 9 yds.
12 2nd down carries for 96 yds (8 YPC), one TD and a long of 44 yds.
7 3rd down carries for 63 yds (9 YPC) with a long of 23 yds.
They ran a lot of Inside zone in the 1st half, especially when Roberts was getting reps. They went to Outside Zone in the 3rd quarter and had 110 yds on 11 carries.
Im looking forward to seeing who starts and what the script looks like for this week.

After watching their games and ours. I don't see how Mizzou does not win by 14+. I just think the skill / talent gaps will really become obvious in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th quarters.

I’d be surprised if Hardy doesn’t get the reps.
He looked clearly better than next two (who didn’t look bad).

I think you are right. Id like to see Hardy break West's single game record.

Exactly.
I have Mizzou as a 13.5 favorite ...
If this line is still 6.5 by Friday (unlikely), I'm driving to North Carolina to hammer this game ...
The only way the chickenhawks come within 2 scores is Eli, Corey and Kirby go turtle mode at halftime, up by 2-3 scores.
I want to see pain for these B12 pretenders ... some folks had them as sleeper CFP candidates. That dream ends on Saturday in COMO

I don't even mention the state name just like I won't say the name of tranny kid killers; I just say that state west of Mizzou

This is there Super Bowl, so it doesn’t matter who plays it will be a tough game.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we win in a blowout or lose a close game. We were better or equal to A&M last year and they curb stomped us. They made us look like a FCS school.
We really don’t know Beau yet, but the running game is much better

Nope. First quarter will be interesting as emotions run high, but not as high as when most on this board were younger. Then talent steps up and the crippled chickens are overmatched. Good guys are on third stringers in the 4th quarter. crippled chickens have a descent showing for the rest of their schedule.

i'm old enough to know that we can easily lose this game and I dont get how anyone can expect a blowout. Unless this new era is completely different, this series never goes that way.

Never underestimate Eli's ego. I feel ya though.. We win by 60 or by 1.

maybe ignorance of the series history will benefit us. Maybe we dont tense up as much expecting the worst.

This might be the highest talent differential in the history of the rivalry. Missouri has 34 4* rated players and 38 3* rated player. Thats the 22nd best roster composite in the nation.
kU has 8 4* rated players and 68 3*s, good for 48th.
247 Roster Composite Ranking

Yes … on paper this shouldn’t be a game. Mizzou should dominate both lines. With that said, KU QB is very mobile which makes anything possible. Hurry him, lay a few hits on him very comfortable win. If not, similar game as vandy last year.

The best way to manage Daniels is to keep him on the sidelines. I dont think it will be a blowout either. Drinks MO the entire time he has been here is to attempt to limit possessions and win in the second half with the run game. This might be one of those 40+ rushing attempts games. I don't think kU has dline depth to handle it.

I'm old enough to have a FIL who was playing for kansas in the 60s, including "that" game. My first memory of watching the good guys was the 5th down game. I was in the stands at Arrowhead in '07 and again the last time we matched up with them in that stadium.
I'm also young enough to know that the players "aware" of a rivalry, but don't really "feel" the way we do. They are focused on execution, which is what we want. I think this game comes down to talent. Kids who want a shot at the NFL will look at an SEC team who has made some noise. kansas doesn't offer as much of a chance. Talent is on our side.

Ask Onofrio if MU ever lost to a less talented kU team!

Anyone else a bit nervous about this game?
The Kansas QB is very mobile and good.
The Missouri defense gained a lot of experience last year chasing mobile quarterbacks in Casteanos, Sellers, Milroe, Pavia, and Green. Hopefully that helps keep the Kansas QB stats within reason.
