THIS is the best it’s going to get with Clownzo.

His recruiting is trash and we will only be even decent when he’s got a bunch of seniors.

You talking about tonight's game? Haven't you heard...There's more important things than winning basketball games.

Yah, world peace and cancer cures et al. Is he coaching basketball or competing for Miss America?

I wanted us to hire him in 2011. We went with Haith.

I wanted us to hire him in 2014. We went with Kim.

We finally hired him in 2017. I was ecstatic. I thought we had finally found the answer.

I defended him vigorously through a disappointing 2019 and 2020 season. I defended the bad play on court as a lack of talent and having “his guys”. I brushed over his inability to recruit and retain top talent. I allowed myself to be swept up in his likability as a human being and ignore his coaching competency...

I see the light now. Cuonzo is a good dude but he’s a terrible coach. He’s not good at in game coaching. He can’t install an offense. His teams don’t match his intensity on the court. And most damning...he cannot recruit worth a lick. He was literally hired as a recruiting guru who could recruit elite talent from STL to cover his flaws as a coach..........we’ve yet to see the recruiting windfall outside of the Porter goldmine.

I’m out on Cuonzo. Again, awesome guy — truthfully really like him. I respect everything he stands for and the person he is. But I don’t want him coaching my team. I want to win basketball games.

KCMOTiger.

Well said my thoughts exactly. It is not W or L it is how they and even our “close” wins happen. Inept offense followed by lapses in defense. Plus recruiting is not acceptable. We are out athletes in the SEC almost every game out.

It's hell to watch this team make the same mistakes over and over.

Pinson driving like a mad man to the hoop only to turn it over.

Tilman and his hacking. He has to know better, he has been there 4 years!

They do not know how to work the ball into the low post. Kobe did it a couple of times but that's it.

The issue is that Mizzou has gone full PC and CCM isn't going anywhere anytime soon. He is right, it's not about winning at Mizzou and that sucks.

In today's PC environment who would you rather have? For most coaches MU is viewed as a stepping stone job on their way to something bigger.

Hell, I would love to be a stepping stone instead of having to fire all of these scrubs or letting them slink away in the dark of night before they could get fired.

That short rotation we had out for a short time was so laughable when those 5 average like 32% from 3

Was thinking last night of our 9 losses other than the December TN loss have we ever not led by double digits at some point in each of those losses?

Not sure how common that is or what it means, but to me it means the talent is there it's just not getting used very well. We're not getting flat out beat or outclassed, the other team makes adjustments and we just sit back and piss it away. Most times without even a TO called by Counzo to stem the tide.

All season I think I watched about a total of less than 1 game.

The basketball team has serious issues. Apathy has set in because production is horrible and recruiting shows nothing to look forward to in the future.

To be fair though, the past few years college basketball as a whole has been terribly uninteresting.

This is why hearing the "good in close games" arguments from the CM fan club members is so annoying.
I'm thinking this team has only 4 losses if they could close out games a good team would be able to close out.

I can’t believe I’m longing for the Quin era, but here I am. It’s hard work being a Mizzou fan.

I'd just like to see him stick up for his team, and call out the refs, just 1 time, maybe?

Never watched a coach just sit there and allow his kids to be abused by the refs, with out even a peep.

Maybe give them hell, get the Technical, and get the boys fired up????

let them know you have their back, and shitty officiating won't be tolerated.
