Why? I don’t think a back will go in the first round or early 2nd round. Probably 2 or 3 backs in the 2nd round.

He will probably be a late 3rd or 4th round pick.

I doubt he gets drafted, but don’t think another year at Mizzou would help that.

He will get a camp invite, so might make a team.

Doesn’t make sense. His draft grade was not high. Must not like going to class. Would’ve had much better chance if he finished to get more money.

You think his grade improves next year if he would have stayed?

Glover Cook decommitting just became a bigger issue.

Don’t think he’ll even get drafted. Injuries really hurt him the last two years. Not sure if he’s even graduated either. Curious decision but good luck to him.

We are still in good shape at RB with Badie, Rountree, Bakare and Watkins

247 shows offers to four uncommitted RBs, Glover Cook being one of them.

Maybe reason for leaving early was he has no chance to be better next year and Missouri will have another spot open.

Do not forget Bryant is going to be running the football a lot more than Drew Lock ever had when he was the quarterback. So it will cut down on giving to running backs.

You would hope if he's being told he's an "invite to training camp" level NFL prospect the light would turn on to try to take advantage of his free education to get a back-up career plan into full swing.

Crockett only has 380 carries in 3 years, he's never played a full season.

By comparison Snell has over 700.

So yea, if he came back, proved he could stay healthy, block well, and rush for over 1000 yards while splitting carries, I'd argue he'd improve his draft stock quite a bit.

There has to be something else going on. Maybe he was given a nudge. Dude ain't getting drafted and no, another year won't change that but now he gets to have an early start at paying bills instead of having everything provided to you. Forget the not getting your degree. Just makes no sense.

Disagree, this is probably similar to Josey going early. Crockett is probably no better than a late round pick if he stays.

That first year, man, I thought he was going to be something special. I hope he gets somewhere in the NFL, if he gets healthy, he has a shot of making a squad.

Can’t remember what game it was this yr, but he got it going and ran really physical. Too bad, but so t think it hurts us that much. We’ve got 2 solid backs ready to roll. Bakare looked good in limited reps.

This isn’t a football decision. Wish him good luck.
