Super weird lineup choices last night. Very Leonard Hamilton though. Doesn't play Honor at all in the first, doesn't play Mosley in the 2nd. Hodge wasn't on the floor at all when they made their run in the 2nd. We really didn't have much offense on the floor when they expanded the lead. I personally like East and Hodge together. Mosley a couple times completely disregarded the open player on the wing. He can create his own shot though. Love what Gates has done, don't really love going 10 deep. I guess it does give the advantage of being fresh in theory, but I think players play better off the flow of the game.7-8 man rotation. Although in this day and age it helps to keep players happy or there gone.

This feels different. Hodge is awesome and team overall is very deep.

Yeah, we’re relevant now.

We very well can make the tourney this year. Is that relevant? KU shot lights out against us also. That UCF team is decent too that they just beat. They've beat multiple P5 teams and lost to Miami by 2.

Got some buddies committed to a trip and looking for any suggestions for places to stay, favorite towns etc. Narrowed down to:
@ Auburn Sept 24th, @ FL Oct. 8th, or UT November. Leaning towards UT. Any suggestions would be awesome!

If able to pull both of them in and Miller is healthy this team could be very solid quickly.

I’m on the over so hopefully. Most of that thought is LSU though, lol.

Sampson, Medved or Pitino I'd be on board with. Doubt Sampson would levae though as he's got a good thing going and Houston can pay him. Medved can flat out coach. Can he recruit to Mizzou? ALways a risk with mid major coaches IMO with no real ties. Pitino would be a quick fix/band-aid and perhaps that's not such a bad thing with where the program is at right now. Guy wins and is a legend, despite having quite the questionable moral history. He's also just doing what every other blue blood was doing. Nobody will like this, but Ford coupled with Cory Tate have the inside track on local players. Not a fan of Ford though. I think his teams tend to underperform. SLU is fun to watch right now though.

Cuonzo’s biggest miss may have been not retaining Corey Tate. He also didn’t really offer the 2 best guards in the state that are both balling right now. Yuri Collins is a top 10 PG in the country. Watching Mizzou bring the ball up is pathetic right now. They missed on everyone and it shows. This after everyone left or was shown the door.

Is the not having to sit a year rule staying? I had thought that was a covid rule initially.

He’s the worst.
re: Durugordon transferring

I think my biggest criticism of Cuonzo other than the fact that we got him because of his recruiting, is his choice of minutes dispersed. He never gave Watson a chance, despite showing nothing but energy when played. Durorgordon showed flashes then hits the pine for 4 games straight. On a team like this especially, you at least see what you got. Frick he gave Wilmore a chance too many times and that guy is simply not good. Boogy Coleman plays all game long and I simply hate his game. Cuonzo values defense, yet plays his slow arse as his lead guard.

He was good when he played too. Cuonzo gotta go.

I don’t know, but wouldn’t this hire be well above her?….
Kimmie would be a bad hire. Kind of a bad thought process playing small with no shooters. They also missed on the better transfers that came from winning schools. They all scoreed on crappy teams. That doesn't really equate generally. His biggest issue has been recruiting, which is what was supposed to be his strength. He should also play his Freshman, but he is coaching for his job. Not sure they don't give him just as a good of a chance to win though. I've wanted Kelvin Sampson for years and he is far enough removed from Indiana as well. Would he come here, show him the money and find out.

Good programs have players like Braune and Torrence step into bigger roles and yes we did lose arguably our best player. Remember pre season the players and Cuonzo touting Braune as most improved and then he doesn’t play....
