I'm moderately confident that he will be. A lot of Mizzou fans need to chill out.

If he does leave, woof, that would be devastating in terms of retaining the recently acquired recruits.

MU just released the OSU mini movie. Was that Baker featured a couple of times? I think that's called a clue.

Glad I'm not the only person on Earth that caught that lol.

I think this is all a big tease.

Work how I’ve seen Baker in these Zou vids he seems BFFs with Eli. I’m betting they’ve shared drinks and the only time Baker will leave is when he’s ready for a HC gig.

What a bum. I’ll appreciate the work he put in but to leave two weeks after signing an extension is shitty.

Disappointing for sure. But people make location based decisions all the time with jobs.

Mizzou will be just fine. This program is rolling now.

Not the classiest move after his Wolf of Wallstreet tweet, but pussy is undefeated in these types of moves.

You have to wonder if she’ll even let him take a HC gig that’s out of state.

He better keep his damn hands to himself regarding our players and other staff though.

Can't blame the administration for this after they made him the 5th highest paid assistant coach in the country. Money can't buy class.

I’m not saying he’s a good or bad hire but why would you make someone co-defensive coordinator to eventually not make him coordinator

Agreed. Statistically, Baker wasn't "great" at Mizzou. He was above average to good (top 30 area). This is a great time to be looking for a DC to go to the next level. We should have everyone's attention right now.

Defense is about attitude and relationships. Muschamp should have stayed at Texas, Venables, Clemson. It needs to be a good fit. If the players believe in DJ, you can't ignore that.

Sure you can. Plenty of examples of players coaches failing.

He made a career move he thought was best for him. I wish him well. We have had some good DC coaches over the years so time to find the next one.
