I believe our home record with early games is very good.

Payton Thorne is a turnover machine. Auburn can run the ball against our soft defensive scheme. Their defense is loaded with talent.

I predict an ugly win ... 21-17.

Best play for those in states where it is legal. Under 51.5

No predictions from me, but if we do win by double digits then I'm back to my 10-2 prediction and in all likelihood losing my father-of-the-year award because I'll be back to "Saturdays in front of the TV." Let's hope my pumpkin patch days this fall are over.

I hope Batoon gets creative with the pressure and gets a couple takeaways. Auburn has quality skill talent and they can stretch the field if the QB's timing isn't disrupted.

Offensively I'd like to see them commit to running on second down. Chip away with Noel and Carroll and set up more 3rd and 4 or less situations.

I know the offense is going to find 2nd gear sooner or later, so:

Miz - 45
Aub - 19

Josh Pate picked Auburn to win. Mainly they are a good team that loses due to turnovers. Take the turnovers away and you have just a good team.

He was at the A&M game on the sidelines and said Brady Cook did not look healthy to him.

Posting this so people don't get their hopes up. Maybe we will be pleasantly surprised who knows.

Take-aways:

1 - Brady Cooks not perfect but he is clearly who the team wants.
2 - Our back-up deserves reps in blow-out games, I don't even know what we have because he looked like a guy that had never worked with that first team.
3 - This team could have folded up after that punt fumble but they didn't.
4 - 6-1 is 6-1.
5 - We aren't blowing any SEC team out this season.

Alabama should be a pick-em game. It's as even as it gets.

Moore needs to run the ball instead of leveraging 2nd down on Cook's arm. He did the same thing with Pyne. Carroll and Noel each averaged 5 ypc. Roberts averaged 4 ypc. They had 19 total carries between them. That is deficient IMO. This line can run Duo, Counter, Split Zone and Stretch with proper tech and timing to either side. The pass pro has been frustrating. Green and Bryant aren't on the same page a little too often for this time of the season.

Frick Moore!!! Funny how when the team needed it, he called short and medium throws for Cook and allowed the receivers to get YAC. Also threw to multiple targets. Exactly what Cook is good at. So what the hell is Moore doing the rest of the game? Rhythm throws and workhorse running game is Mizzous identity, why is Moore fricking this up? Why isn't Drink putting a stop to it?

Dayemm, a 17 play 95 yard td drive to win the game by Brady Cook. On this day the injured starting QB was better than the back up. Grats to Brady and the entire team for a gutsy win.

Disappointing for Mookie to be 2 yards short of the endzone on that long yards after catch pass play. He took them on a good chase down to the 2 yard line though.

I would be happy with any wins going forward. A win is a win.
