Rumors are swirling about still getting a 12th game in with either WV or VT since they both cancelled their games and both have the same open week as us.
Want no part of Greir and WVU after what I saw from the dbs saturday

Why not schedule a cupcake instead of a guaranteed L?

I'd go to the VT game if it were in Blacksburg in a heart beat.

We've lost a home game and a probable W. Trading that for a likely L in a road or neutral site is absolutely unacceptable, especially if we need that 6th win to get to a bowl game.

I've been thinking about you Cocks this week and hope you come out with as little damage as possible.

With Marshall we were only going to get to 5 wins
Strap in for a 4 win season boys and Carolina_Girl

Indeed. We just lost to what had been a Bottom 10 worst team in FBS football. Y'all just lost to a team coming off a national title appearance.
I will, with all due respect, happily trade you teams and schedules this season. Even with a game rained out.

Play it on Dec. 1, like FSU did last season to get bowl eligible.

I wouldn’t care which we played if it meant we had to play on the road. Wouldn’t mind a trip to Blacksburg or Morgantown.

Thought this was funny...someone tweeted it and it's the most accurate description of Florence I've heard:
quote:
Florence is like a drunk freshman in 5 Points. Doesn’t know where she’s going, flirting with everyone, and sure loves all the attention. She’s going to nail someone, just depends on who’s dancing with her at the end of the night.

Forecasts are slowly improving here in Columbia. Going to be a huge rain event, and the coast will still have some issues, but I don't think it will parallel with 2015 in terms of midlands flooding.
Latest forecast from WIS has us getting about 5-6 inches of rain, up to 40 mph winds. I can deal with that if it holds true.

Good luck and godspeed to y’all this weekend. I’ve had at least one tree hit my house each of the last two years because of the recent hurricanes so I know what these things can do.

You guys hang in there. I will be following this storm over the weekend. Hopefully it won't be too bad. You have my prayers.

Any of you know that guy in charleston at the battery on weather channel a few minutes ago that is a local charter captain and identified as cajun navy?
