High noon game, 11AM local time.
I say we win a slugfest that comes down to the wire, 21-17

This ones going to be a low scoring one I think.
I wanna say... 17-16 Carolina, but this one really is a toss up.

I dunno. I think we're going to have to score some points if we want to win this one.
Mizzou is going to score some points on us.
Lemme think about this one for a couple of days. Taking into account maybe a new attitude on the team, Nunez becoming a leader, maybe we get a player or two back. Maybe Hoke will get the secondary figured out. I dunno.

Check the injury reports. Seems there were some hard hits by both teams. UK has a week to get healthy again but Mizzou has to play the Cocks and will not have that luxury.

I'm going to try to be positive and go with a 20-17 win.
But if we have another crap half (first against UNC, first against UK, either against UGa, first against UCF) we will not win. It would be nice to look well coached for both halves in at least one game.

Missouris offense is about as bad as ours. They're 3-1 but the first quality completion they played, they lost. To the same team that beat us. I think we can win. They're still figuring out their QB issues whereas I think Nunez will only improve.
However it is his first start on the road, so I'm not saying for certain we win.

I really hope they don't hand the keys over to Lock yet, continue to play Mauk, at least this week anyway Mizzou.

Hopefully before the fourth quarter this time...

Ain't that the truth. With the exception of the georgia game, SC's defense hasn't allowed a 2nd Half point in the other 3 games.
If Hoke could just make the adjustments sooner (I would even accept the 2nd Quarter), we could probably start really limiting the offenses we play.
This game is a mystery to me this week. We play so up and down I don't know who's going to show up. Will their RB be healthy? Will our RB be healthy? Can Nunez avoid bad plays? Can Mauk? This game is so terrible to bet on, I wouldn't touch it or even try to pick a score.
Their defense has been much more consistent than our's but they played much weaker teams (except we both played kent.) I thought mizz had a weak pass defense, but we don't have a strong passing QB. Also, besides Adams and Pharoh, we don't have any real threats who have stepped up yet in the passing game. Defending the run b/w the tackles is their strength, but that's the best thing we can do offensively. Yeah, I'm not gonna bet on this game.

I feel better about this one. I think we win 28-24.

The recipe to beat us is simple....
Throw 5 yard slant routes because we give 10-12 yard cushions. Then to change it up, run a wildcat formation because we tackle on a pee wee level.
The fact that we have to depend on halftime or later defensive adjustments does not bode well for when we play stronger competition. I mean wth do we practice all week? We magically figure out the other teams offense in a 20 minute halftime but can't for the previous 6 days of practice...

Missouri barely beat Arkansas State and UConn before falling to UK. The fact that they will be at home against us certainly helps their cause, but so far this season they are last in the SEC in rushing offense, total offense and scoring offense. I know our own defense is capable of making anyone's offense look like world-beaters, but if we're going to stop anyone, Missouri should be at the top of that list...
Mizzou's own defense has performed well however, so our own OL needs to bring their top game and Nunez needs to keep his head on a swivel and keep the pocket moving. Missouri's OL also leads the SEC by a large margin in TFL allowed, so again hopefully that helps our DL and defense overall...
