Texas Tech, Baylor, & TCU sitting around the Big 12 TV money for the next few years. No Pac 12 Santa is coming to pick them up.

Oregon and their strong Nike affiliation would help them fit in the SEC out of all the PAC-12. Otherwise there's not one other school that anyone would really care to take in.

Pay that conference their money. OU/sip thought they could just sneak out the back door without paying the bill

I laughed. I was just randomly thinking in terms of a fit with their program, not in terms of demographics.

Still funny.

Eugene is more redneck than Tuscaloosa. I have lived in both.

I would have been shocked if they said they were expanding. Not a lot of attractive candidates for them, like none.

Kansas and Iowa State might get a lifeline from the Big 10. Otherwise the remaining Big 12 is screwed.

I feel sorry for TCU. The Horny Frogs fought like crazy to get back to P5 status, granted, stabbing the MWC in the back along way. They finally make it, they don't suck... and its gone.

I am guessing the MWC is probably going to go with a "nah, we're good homie".

Do you try for the AAC? I'm not sure they are willing to take everyone left in the Big 12 but they might.

Which pretty much rules out expansion for any of the "Alliance". Thus this reaction from Angry Kansas guy:

no reason for big 12 teams to join AAC that has Temple - Tulsa Tulane, ect...

Rather 2-4 of the Top AAC teams will join Big 12

Yes, and I think they will be a great league. Could be 3rd behind the SEC/BIG.

The AAC is about to get eaten. Unless this is just a smokescreen by the PAC and/or the B1G/ACC make some suprising moves.
