If you had to guess, what will it look like? With Dabo's recent comments it seems clear what to expect. What comes with an entire college football league though? Will we see a high school draft? Will teams have salary caps that are donation only? With the revenue from NIL there is no way we can make a firm level playing field let alone start bidding wars. Penny for your thoughts.

I refuse to look that far since Nick will be selling Mercedes full-time

come on fellow. You can't tell a high school kid where he's going to attend college. A NFL minor league could do a draft, but just because college athletes can do endorsements you can't tell them where they'll go to school

If enough money is involved I believe the majority will have no problem playing school. It already happens.

Not really difficult to predict.

It will be extremely top heavy, only the schools with the deepest donor pockets will be competing for a national championship - period end of story there.

This is huge business in college football, and that means the richest will control and dictate the terms.

This will now going to a more of a “professional” football model as the dust starts to settle. Meaning each starting position will have a dollar amount assigned to it - the going rate. And the better the player is at that position and depending on the schools needs will depend on whether that player gets more, less or inline with that going rate.

We will only have 3, maybe four super conferences and then the rest.

In order for the smaller schools programs, and I am talking the G5 teams, they are going to have to break away from the Super Conferences and have their own National Championship just like the Division ll schools do now. Doesn’t have to be in the Division ll playoff format, but they have to have their own championship or those programs eventually wither up and die a slow death.

But if the G5 teams don’t separate themselves from the P5 teams, they won’t be able to survive under the new NIL rules, they don’t have the money to compete. And if you can’t compete, then what is the purpose of competing?

It'll be the D-League for the NFL. Enrolling in class won't be required.

Can't have a draft. Kids have the right to chose their own college.

It will do downhill quick between the conferences and NIL. Won't be a product worth the energy

Lets say ole Keith Jackson was calling a game in 10 years. He would open with we have a dandy in the SEC Semi Professional football league with LSU vs. Florida, or Alabama vs. Auburn, or Tennessee vs. UGA, etc, etc.

Both teams however have 2 important players, who are on strike do to some collective bargaining disagreements. Other than that, all teams have a full squad ready to go and no player in the Injured reserve.

That is my prediction.

Saban retires. The new coach goes 11-3 the first two seasons. Bama fans are not happy and fires him. The next coach struggles with 4 and 5 loss seasons.

Did I do that right?
