#BREAKING: The presidents from the 14 universities of the
@SEC
will vote *tomorrow* on whether to allow
@TexasLonghorns
and
@UofOklahoma

That’s not true, they will be voting on whether or not they would accept an application for the year 2025

My only thought is wouldn’t it be funny if all the SEC members just voting no and saying go back to that girlfriend you dumped.

They will be voting to accept. Texas and Oklahoma will buyout whats remaining and join next year. They aren't waiting until 2025.

How awesome would it be if the SEC was trolling and pulled carpet at the last minute, leaving OU and Texas to go back home with the tails tucked.

I think they will be in the conference pretty soon, but I don't think it will be clean. I think there will be lawsuits and massive buyouts.

Lost in much of this is the rest of the B12 schools are getting completely steamrolled by SEC pace on this. Total confusion over there about what to do and if there is a chance to stop it by lawsuit, state legislature, etc.. but it is basically over now barring a number of surprise votes in SEC.

B12 in a death spiral while trying to sell 2 more seats on the plane.

I honestly want this to be over and done with already so we can go ahead and figure out the pod / scheduling issues.

You have about 4 of the biggest Goliaths (SEC, the Mouse, Texas and OU) all gathering steam in the same direction.

No rocks big enough for David (Big XII or anyone else) to bring this one down.

Well if this wasnt leaked last week the first time we have heard about this would have been Monday...

Think about how insane that would have been for everyone not named Texas, OU or the SEC.

In truth it is really impressive it went as long as it did without anyone finding out, and the failed political attempts to stop it really do highlight why it was kept under wraps.
