I was about to say, obviously they could ban tailgating on university property but how would they ban it on private property? I don't know Mississippi State's stadium setup but it sounds like finding a good private lot will be the best bet this fall.

I do have a duplicate of my parking pass for the first game in my season ticket account that says “Covid parking placement”. No clue what that means...if they are trying to spread folks out for tailgating purposes or if due to limited attendance they will move you closer to the stadium...or maybe they want you to park 6 feet apart???

The stadium is right smack in the middle of a large campus. No such thing as a private lot anywhere near the stadium.

I don’t know and don’t really care at this point. I was pointing put possible reasons as to why they may have done what they did regarding the parking pass. If you only get 10k willing to show up, then yeah you could spread out the parking and allow it for folks with tickets.
