Board is dead right now so I'll engage in one of my favorite nerdout topics. These are total guesses based on the SEC schedule of the day and how I'd guess the SEC will shape up overall.

Georgia vs. Virginia 8PM Labor Day Night (This one is known already. Gonna feel weird being a Monday)
Georgia vs. ETSU 12:00
Georgia @ Alabama 8:00 CBS (possible CBS goes with something different like LSU/Bama, but I'll guess this one is the pick)
Georgia vs. UL Monroe 7:00 (light day in the SEC this week Tennessee/Florida will be the CBS game)
Georgia vs. Vandy 7:00
Georgia vs. Auburn 3:30 (tough call here because LSU/Florida is the same day)
Georgia @ Mizzou 12:00 (No clue here really, a lot of middle of the road SEC games that day)
Bye
Georgia vs. Florida 3:30
Georgia @ South Carolina 7:00 (if Bama/LSU is the night CBS pick I think this one would be the 3:30 lead in game)
Georgia vs. Tennessee 3:30
Georgia @ Kentucky 7:00
Georgia vs. Georgia Tech Noon (because there seems to be a law that this game has to be at noon lately)

I have nothing of value to add but I would be stunned if we had 6 night games. We typically don't ever have more than 3 or 4 so to practically double that seems unlikely

I freakin hate conference nooners with the home/away dynamic.

Hope this isn't the case.

You may be right, I might be doing some wishful thinking with some of those. We have had a few years with a lot of night games though. Looking at wiki, the 09 regular season had six, the 2012 regular season had six, and the 2017 regular season had five, last year's regular season had five too.

I hope the Bama game is 3:30. They may be interested in putting the WLOCP at the 8pm slot if we beat Bama, because in that scenario, there's a good chance both UGA and UF are undefeated.

There is a less than 0.0% chance of this happening. Wlocp will be at 3:30.

Somewhat off topic, but Dawgpost had an article a few days ago speculating about changes to the SEC schedule once the CBS contract ends.

They mentioned a hypothetical situation where Georgia vs. Georgia Tech moved to the Friday after Thanksgiving since the Saturday slate that weekend has lots of bigger games most years.

Anybody have thoughts on that? I never attended any of the Tech games on Thanksgiving but remember seeing some as a kid. I'd have to think a Thanksgiving day game or a Friday after would have a sort of flat feel to it. A small advantage would be an extra day of prep for the SEC title game I guess.

Here to say that playing Auburn in October is horse shite.

I hope LSU rapes them so badly in November they can't sit down till Feb Signing Day

We won't have any choice when the game is played when we're the road team.

I'm not sure about playing GT on a Friday in Athens...gonna be a tough sell for students.

Friday is fine, it's a reflection of where they are but it gives us more time to prep for seccg.

Playing on Thanksgiving day sucked. It was stupid. Dorms were closed, student turn out was bad. I went to 2 of the five when I was in Athens.

My favorite memory of COFH was playing on Turkey Day in 1993.

We kicked their arse on the field and in the fight that happened right in front of where I was sitting.

Games at Sanford Stadium West can be on Friday night, but if we're in Athens it should be on Saturday. Metro/Atlanta based fans will help fill the stadium in Atlanta regardless of the day.

The university makes it way too hard for students to stay over Thanksgiving break, so Saturday is the only way to get decent attendance from the students for when we play Tech in Athens, unless Tech magically becomes relevant again.

God I hope not. I kicked in my windshield the last time we played at night.

They also have that slot picked before the season even starts. Our game against Bama has zero impact on the time of the game vs. UF.

I agree with the CBS games.

But if/when espn/abc/secn get all of the SEC games, the entire conference is going to bow down to the whims of Mickey mouse. If that means an 8pm wlocp, then that is when the game is played. If that means thursday or friday games, then that is when the games will be played.

For the amount of money that is about to be thrown at the conference, TV scheduling will trump whatever the campuses/schools want to do
