I actually like this schedule. We might catch Vandy and Mizzou with new coaches. Maybe Auburn too if they fall flat.

Maybe Saban too after we beat them this year!

They never had us back to back... they always had a cupcake in between... so instead, we now have Bama, a cupcake + Vandy, and then play Auburn in god damned week 6. It's sacrilege and McGoober deserves to have his micropeen chopped off and fed to him in a smoothie.

ETA: And of course if I had just scrolled down, WG had already covered it.

Also, LOL @ Auburn now with LSU and Bama back to back... I'll say this for McGoober... if he knew this would be the result, that is next level frickery.

oh boy, we get just 3 conference games at home - what ???

... there are only 8 conference games. 4 home/4 away... In even years, UF is a "home" game... This should not be surprising.

It's why we've complained for a while with the current schedule iteration... Auburn getting back to back homes really fricked up our schedule balance, because Auburn/Tech were in opposite years at home before. Now, Auburn, Tech, and the UF neutral site game all constitute "home" games for balance purposes.

Kirby wanted it

“They had their reasons for doing it,” Morehead said of the SEC. “I suppose if I was looking at the schedule, the key for me is asking if our head coach is happy with the schedule. Has our athletic director vetted it properly? All those things have been done. We’re concerned with having our off weeks, making sure we preserve our off week before Florida. … But I really defer to Coach Smart on those sorts of things.”

It will be outstanding if Tua and some of those receivers leave,

Honest to God I forgot that was a possibility. Tua and Jeudy should be locks to leave.

That game is going to be classic SEC football with the defense both teams will field and the horses running the ball. I dare say UGA will probably have the better defense, and even after we lose three O-Linemen to the draft we'll still be comparable up front. We'll also have a chance to be as good or better at receiver.

Problem is we don't know what the QB situation will look like and TUA Jr looks like he'll be serviceable at worst replacing his bro. I'm looking forward to it.

Ha ha! Called the old man and asked if he had seen the 2020 schedule and his thoughts on playing Bama 3rd game out. He said "Don't worry, they're on our schedule this year and will get beat so 2020 will be a revenge for them."

He already knows we are going to meet up with them in December and beat the dawg shite out of them.

OT- Did any of you see the Bizzaro Dawgs Twitter post of their 2020 schedule? That shite was hilarious; they really skewered some folks. Auburn, Ole Miss, Arkansas and aTm will not be happy.

No big deal here but I thought Arkansas was next in the rotation

2015 Bama here
2016 Miss there
2017 Miss St here
2018 LSU there
2019 A&M here

Wouldn't Arkansas be next.
