It was a pathetic call and pathetic execution.

Its so funny to see all of the bama linemen literally standing around watching their QB tackled for a loss.

Great effort.

They had given up by then. Thats all there is to that. You know Bama has a better OLine than that execution shows

One of the worst coaching jobs I've ever seen in a big game. From start to finish it was horrible.

They had quit long before this play.

I heard the Tide fans were starting a gofundme billboard campaign at halftime for Clemson, South Carolina:

Hey now... Give #11 his credit. He rerouted Clemson's #14 and helped make sure it was only a 2 person tackle with only another 4 in pursuit.

Quite a bit of that going on last night. Saban might need to reevaluate how he deals with coordinators who have already accepted new jobs coaching in the postseason. I don't think Locksley is that good a play-caller anyway but he was coaching like half his brain was already in Maryland last night.

Makes me thing Tua was starting to say some unpleasant things to the o-line and they decided to hang him out to dry. That or it was a strange play call that they hadn’t practiced much, looks like some of the blockers were letting people through like they thought there was a screen pass to come.

Edit: watching the play a few times, it was definitely intended to be some sort of shovel screen to Harris but things broke down too fast to set it up and Harris went in to block instead of looking for the screen

Saban might have done better to have given Enos the play calling responsibilities for that game. He had big game experience, knew all the players, and wasn't a complete lush like Sarkie.
