Point of Information for our LSU friends who will be visiting this week-end: MSU fans meet at SouthFarm, the ag-research facility near campus, for arse-whoopings. GOOGLE or FB have directions. Thanks! See Y'all there!

The "arse-whooping" will be done at Davis Wade!

That and the fact LSU's corch is 0-2 in Starkville. Can Danny "Bobby Boucher" Etling be the difference maker for Fran? Tune in Saturday night.

How many times have they played in Starkville over this period of time? 20?

Good point, I guess that gives Corch Mullen, who is 1-7 against LSU and
0-4 in Starkville quite the advantage.

20 years ago because my wife would have only been 5 and thats just sick but probably normal to people in Starkville

The argument could be made, since that record is against Les Miles. It would be just as sound as anything else being thrown around. Not to mention O's last loss was to Croom while he was in the midst of purging Jackie's inmates from the program. That's some solid history.

Miss St has beaten LSU in Starkville a total of 5 times in the last 100 years. I mean, they've only played each other in Starkville 17 times in the last 100 years. The record is 5-12. So, you could also say LSU has only beaten State 12 times in Starkville the last 100 years, and none from 1921-88.

Yatesdog - I got your back at the Southfarm. I will be the guy on the hill in desert camo with the suppressor modified M4. You might not see me and you certainly won't hear much, but don't worry - my night vision capabilities are state of the art, courtesy of the MSU engineering dept. Oh, I will make certain a hole has been prepared for the body.

Of course those three years were before you fully melted and fired the 2nd winningest SEC coach in the last two decades and hired a gorilla to replace him but I am sure there won't be any drop off for LSU whatsoever this year.

I'd like to see you come back on the SECR after the game to eat crow but you and I both know that won't happen

Wow. Who knew that, when I went to the game in 1984 and MSU won, I was seeing a rare piece of history?

2 of those wins came before joining the SEC.

So, '82, '84 and '99 are the only three MSU wins in SEC play, I assume.

Honestly, I think this weekends game is going to be a good matchup but think LSU is going to win. Our OL is very suspect, but hey who knows. You should anyway.

But this matchup during the Mullen era has been close other than three years (2010, 2012, and 2013).

103 September 26, 2009 Starkville, MS LSU 30–26
104 September 18, 2010 Baton Rouge, LA LSU 29–7
105 September 15, 2011 Starkville, MS LSU 19–6
106 November 10, 2012 Baton Rouge,LA LSU 37–17
107 October 5, 2013 Starkville, MS LSU 59–26

108 September 20, 2014 Baton Rouge, LA Mississippi State 34–29

109 September 12, 2015 Starkville, MS LSU 21–19
110 September 17, 2016 Baton Rouge, LA LSU 23–20

In 2009 we had 5'8" QB that if he would have pitched or made a better throw we would have won. We were first and goal and you guys simply kept us out.

2010 we had No OL depth and lost 2-3 starters by the time we got to LSU and it was miserable. 2011 we had a serviceable QB in Relf but he was a 2-3 Star out of HS that Croom recruited.

2012 we had 47 yards rushing - Blowout.
2013 it was 38-26 going into the 4th and you scored 28 in the 4th Q - Blowout.

2014 we won in BR with Dak.

Then the last two years came down to the last possessions. I don't care how. And we would have beaten you if we had a decent FG kicker last year.

You just proved my point. What happened twenty years ago doesn't matter.
