His trajectory right now is to be one of the greats. I don't think you have to be an LSU fan to recognize that. Or to recognize that he is one of the most popular players in the NFL outside of just LSU and Cincy fans. So it's not us being "so attached to a former QB" it's us being attached to and proud of an icon.

He’s a good qb, but icon is within your fanbase or head. No one thinks 2019 means anything other than lsu won a natty. Cool season but it’s been over for 3 years.

It’s good you have something to cling to though. Good luck in the future.

Ehh, this just isn't true within the "pop culture" that surrounds football.

Now whether that actually means anything or not is certainly debatable.

Pop culture of football? Are there black light posters for this in head shops?

Like I said

Social media experts will tell you it means a lot, someone who lives relatively disconnected will say it isn't "real life."

To say it simply doesn't exist though just isn't true.

I know it's cliche but Burrow just IS different. Other players are absolutely loved and followed but Burrow has a different kind of hold on people.

Gee, that’s not gay

LSU played tonight?

Threads about refs, anchored shite talk threads, threads boasting about the loss, etc. If future archeologists were asked what happened on this day and all they had was the MSB, they would easily come to the conclusion that LSU played and lost today

What else do they have?

A football team that’ll start the year ranked in the top ten and more relevant to right now, the top ranked baseball team in the country, for starters. Try again, bud.

C'mon uga OP.... it doesn't matter, it's all the same for everyone. You don't remember because you're not a fan.

I see more opposing fans talking about Burrow than actual LSU fans. Georgia seems to be leading the pact tbh. It’s a weird obsession by y’all.

That's because Stafford did nothing when he was at UGA, if he would of won a national championship there you would of adored him. We are talking about the same fan base who after the SEC championship game last year wanted to bench Stetson for JT Daniels, you have no loyalty.. There is a reason that after winning 2 national championships he has made foolish statements and choices, he remembers you clown Georgia fans who said in order to beat Bama we have to play JT Daniels.. I would be getting hammered as well if I had to deal with Dawg fans all the time

Meh.

As much crap as I give LSU fans, they deserve to celebrate Joe Burrow and be proud of his accomplishments. From everything we've seen, he's an upstanding citizen who is a solid ambassador for LSU. You can't help but cheer for the guy.

I see TigerLinatic praising D Smiths catch.
I see antibarner praising burrow.

I see lsu fans praising hurts.

I see other sec fans doggin burrow.

So your post is not very aware.

Not even slightly.
The board is ALL burrow by the other 13 poster groups.
