I don’t doubt Petrino is a good OC, but that partnership has the potential to go up in absolute flames.

If A&M hires Bobby we need to bring back the motorcycle thread and the girls wedding book thread. Some of the best entertainment to grace the SEC rant.

Seems like a desperate move. Those two will clash for control of the offense. Jimbo’s ego won’t let him relinquish total control over play calling and Petrino ain’t taking a job to be a puppet

Or they make it work and hang 60 on Kelly's paper tiger defense.

Exactly right. Petrino, with total autonomy as an OC with A&M talent would be downright scary. I suspect Jimbo won't allow total autonomy and don't see Petrino walking into that situation. Petrino is an offensive mastermind. Jimbo's mind, in regards to an offense, is a Pinto on blocks.

Bobby Petrino is a damn good coach. That’s a great hire for Jimbo as much as I hate to see it.

That’s the idea! Jimbo recruits the talent…

I doesn’t matter. We can hire Joe Burrow for OC and lsu fans will say it will fail. Why would we expect you guys to say we will have success? You guys are funny.

Would be a good hire if they can work together.

And they would beat Arkansas every year.

Oh, wait…..

For an unbiased (non-lsu) opinion, decent hire if he’s the guy we get or any red flags on his offenses? I know he beat us with Lamar one year, that’s it.

Wait you mean fans of one school will shite on another schools hire?

I forgot how complimentary all the A&M fans were of Brian Kelly.

Kentucky fans say he runs a pass-oriented offense. His protege Bhrom taking the Louisville job was one reason Owens left.

But my memory of our bowl game with them, it seemed their offense was more balanced.

Then there was Michael Bush who was a great RB in his system. I myself do not believe Jimbo will hire him if his scheme lacks a strong running game.

Petrino offense, with our young talent core, and a reasonably decent defense?

Hell yes!

Petrino offense,

Yeah.

In 2011.

Jimbo ran a good offense back then too.

This hire has all feelings of a Bo Pelini disaster. Trust us lol

Yes it would.

I don't either. Same as Gus hiring an OC.

Imagine being Petrino and having to listen to some dumbass who started Haynes King at QB.
