I would welcome this as a sign that Jimbo is open to giving up control, and doesn’t have to meddle in the playcalling.

frick my life that would suck. I figured he’d come back someday but partnering with Jimbo seems to make the least sense. Two egomaniacs fighting for control of the offense seems like a recipe for disaster. Probably after they win a national championship knowing our luck but still a smoldering train wreck at some point.

Seems like a desperate move. Those two will clash for control of the offense. Jimbo’s ego won’t let him relinquish total control over play calling and Petrino ain’t taking a job to be a puppet
