Auburn telling Sankey and the SEC to frick the hell off? I approve. Sankey is only about Saban and Kirby which means Auburn damn sure needs to look out for itself because no one is going to do that for you.

Should make things interesting going forward.

I do think that some powers that be saw Freeze/Ole Miss as disruptive to the NCAA's economic cartel and weren't sad to find something to nuke them with. Doesn't take away from the creepiness of Freeze, but before the recent Supreme Court decision basically pushed the NCAA aside, the NCAA rigorously defended a economic status quo.

That's pretty stupid considering the number of times big time schools have gotten in trouble.

If it was about that, USC wouldn't have gotten in such trouble. Ohio St wouldn't have been bowl banned in a year they had a chance to win a championship. Alabama wouldn't have faced sanctions many other times. Not to mention all the messy shite that's gone on over with the Penn St shite.

Furthermore, the NCAA isn't even part of the economics of college football. All the deals that are done and all the money that is made is all done separate of the NCAA. Companies directly make deals with schools and conferences.

You bitches cheated, everyone knew it from the start because it was so damn obvious. You got caught, shut the frick up and deal with it.

Freeze's nickname wasn't "The Snake" just for shits and giggles...

It's almost as if a nerve has been touched here.

Yeah, USC got in trouble once 12 years ago, but we've seen light handling of Miami and Oregon since. Ohio St. once got in a bit of trouble too, but the NCAA was careful to make sure that no Buckeyes missed that Sugar Bowl against Arkansas, right? Penn State had Sandusky; nobody could overlook that, even the NCAA.

Alabama hasn't been in trouble since Albert Means. And we all know that Bama pays people just like everyone else. I don't blame you--there's always been a market. All we did was participate in that market with you. That participation became, well, uncomfortable.

That's the nice thing about the new world of NIL and the portal--all of that crony structure got nuked from orbit by the Supreme Court.

If you think the NCAA wasn't formerly a part of the economics of college football you're crazy. The enforcement mechanism has long dictated winners and losers.

What about Kansas basketball? North Carolina basketball? Louisville?

Nothing.

NCAA enforcement has always been a gigantic sham to protect the money.

I mean Penn State was covering up child molestation while Alabama had some of the worst violations in recent memory and was on repeat offender status when it nearly got the death penalty. They actually got preferential treatment tbh. Not really an apt comparison.

Name a multi-billion dollar industry that allows its business to run randomly. Just one.

I love how the dumbed-down think that anything their simple brain is incapable of understanding is some sort of conspiracy theory.

Gee Wally, how do you think they got to be preseason top 10?

USC should have gotten the death penalty. Why do you think Pete Carroll got the frick right on out of there before the shite hit the fan?

It's a joke that USC even has a football program. It's a joke that Penn State is allowed to have a football program.

But SMU? Yeah, they were the unfortunate ones. Their crime? They challenged the then-Gold Goose Texas.

The future power struggle between Texas and Alabama will be worth the price of admission, and I don't mean on the field.

I was pissed in the Freeze days that the big boys, Mark Richt and UGA and others just couldn’t handle Ole Miss upsetting the Apple cart.

There was a reason that Hugh ran it up like 66-0 on UGA Kirby’s first year.

The dude can coach and will win some big games at Auburn. I’m happy for him

That's very mature of you. I'd be royally pissed if I were an Ole Miss fan.

I just wonder what's going to be different this time? He's going to win at Auburn and he's going to continue to beat Saban.

Maybe Saban's days are coming to an end? Or maybe there were more "agreements" in his contract other than staying off of social media?

This will happen at Auburn. He'll recruit 47 WR, and forget to recruit any DL
