UGA fans, what do you expect from your team next year?

Another run at the NC or will y'all be down and have to wait a year or two?

We have a favorable schedule and should be overwhelmingly favored to win the East.

We will be young, especially on defense. We will actually be a bit more experienced on the offensive side.

I’d say an SECE title and NY6 bowl (unless we can really grow by SECC time) with 10-12 wins is what I’d expect.

I expect we will be down next year... losing a lot on defense.

Hopefully by mid to late season, the young talent will be coming along.

But I’m expecting a relatively down year overall.

We will be rebuilding on D. Auburn, Oregon, Florida, UT are all games we could lose. Won't lose all of them but 2 wouldn't surprise me

Defense will take 2 steps back.

Offense should take a step forward.

The defense this season would have been very different without jordan davis. Like roquan smith in 2017, he was a "cheat code" to do things that were otherwise impossible.

But we have an alpha dawg in the trenches. #88 jalen carter will push for top 5 nfl draft pick.

We had 8 top caliber linebackers in 2021. I dont know how many will return. We got good reps in garbage time for the younger guys. But it could see a 2018 type dropoff at the position.

We are a revolving door at DB. Chris smith returning is huge (could be a 4 to 5 INT guy if healthy). Ringo will command 1 side. But there are a ton of question marks for spring and the portal (we brought in 2 top guys through the portal for 2021. We could do it again).

Offense will lean on the OL. This could be the best unit on the team and that isnt a bad place to start. Brock bowers is an alpha dawg. We have dudes at RB and TE. Give any qb a clean pocket and B level running game and we have a chance to outscore the east.

Great schedule, appearance in the SECCG, probably a loss to Bammer

Youth will have to be served if we are gonna have a chance at the playoffs

Top 10 finish, Big6 bowl

Another top 5 recruiting class

We feel pretty good. We have been stacking 5* for 6 years. I think we'll be ready, and compete to get into the playoff.

If you’re gonna list those 4 as possible losses, go ahead a put Vandy in that group if you think we’re that bad

@SC 3rd game of the year will be tough. That’s a crazy environment and we have a young team, maybe with a new a new QB.

@MSU and @KY to end the SEC schedule is also tough.

If we drop 2 of those then someone else could sneak in

It's actually hard for me to imagine us losing any of those games. It could happen for sure, but I think Kentucky or even (gulp) South Carolina would be more of a threat to upset us. Mississippi State could be hard to get past in Starkville. We get UT and Auburn at home and both are still rebuilding.
10-11 wins a reasonable expectation. A lot of young players will have to step up.

Young on defense.

Hoping we bring in a QB coach to develop Gunner or BVG.

Right now I'd say 10-2 or 11-1, NY6 bowl birth

If Georgia gets to the SECCG they have a chance. Who knows, maybe Alabama's long snapper gets injured in the second quarter so bama fans will already have an excuse for losing the game.

I think we may be on the struggle bus next season. Hope I'm wrong.
