Saw an insider into the program post on Tweeter that Bijan Robinson will no longer suit up for the Longhorns this season. He is calling it QUITs for 2021 and sitting out! Wow!

Transferring? This has not been confirmed but seems he is debating about a transfer considering he likely only has one year left before being a high 1st or 2nd round NFL draft pick. Clearly the kid is concerned about what he will be able to accomplish next year in Austin without much talent surrounding him. He is a Heisman level talent that has gone to waste this year as a battering ram for Sark. He isn't being utilized correctly and he is clearly worried about overuse and getting injured.

I get it as next year is critical for his NFL draft stock. A business decision for him more than anything else.

Bet he then lands in the SEC. And once Spiller goes NFL after this season, the Aggies have a great 2nd string spot for him behind Achane as a ONE - TWO punch.

As would any other program in the SEC want him as their starting RB. Talent is undeniable. See if Sark can manage to convince him to stay. For Sark's sake, it is critical.

More interesting transfer news to follow out of Austin. I was a bit surprised to be honest. Not sure what is happening in that locker room with all this drama with these young athletes in Austin.

Texas fans? What the heck is going on with these transfers and kids now sitting out? Still plenty of football to be played this season!

If I were the coach, I would encourage him to leave. You don't quit on your team. You are not 'entitled' to sit out and come back. You are either a team player or not.

This is where I’m at. Recruiting makes it so difficult to take such a hard line stance on these issues because you’ll end up with a kid running his mouth about why (see: former players basically saying Dare Rosenthal transferred for failed weed tests). However, you have to draw the line somewhere. Don’t want to play for reasons outside injury/academics? Fine. You’ve got the boot and we’ll tell every NFL scout who will listen our honest opinion of you.

Kid is not entitled. He's hurt. Offensive line is a sieve to put it nicely. He could honestly skip his entire JR year and get drafted without risking injury. Now if you want to talk about entitled attitudes, you should check out Worthy

That kid is as "me" as it comes judging from the last interview I saw

He really got roughed up towards the end of the ISU game. No need to speculate more on the kid. He has kept quiet and fought his arse off despite a totally dysfunctional background.

I'm not supposed to but I like Bijan. He seems like a hard-working, talented kid. That's the opposite attitude that I typically associate with Texas football

This transfer portal will be the end of college football as we know it.

The transfer portal may be a net positive for college football as it will force many complacent coaches to step up on their end to make their programs the best place for their athletes.

Remember when Saban got to Bama and a ton of losers quit. Sometimes you gotta weed out the trash.

Nick Saban was right. It will make the rich richer. Not good for the health of the sport.

See what happens. Sark absolutely has overused the kid but he had no choice. Bijan is probably very carefully considering his NFL future and potential of a injury playing for Sark next year. Nothing is going to change in the immediate coming season and sure he is aware of this. Does he want to be the battering ram again next year? Everything is placed on his shoulders.

I do believe he is one of the very few talents on their rooster that has the right attitude and heart. Just sucks for him as he truly had a chance to be a Heisman guy if only playing for a different program. Feel for him.

23 touches a game will wear on you. He had 37 vs TCU alone.
